Book 2 Chapter 1

Dalawang Ilog

1 week has passed when the closure happened. At hindi ako mapakali. I thought I will be relieved. Pero bakit parang pinagsakluban ako ng langit at lupa?

''Eric'' I heard my mum calling me.

Narinig ko ang yapak niya. I was infront of the Depandance. Ang space ko whenever I thought of staying dito kina Mummy.

''Nakatulala ka na naman?'' She said but I know she's going to tease me again.

''Kailan ba ako magkakaapo?'' Sunod niyang tanong.

''Wala ngang girlfriend Mummy, apo pa kaya?''

''There are so many girls out there, pero para kang snailmail''

''Was that an insult Mum?'' I huffed.

''I want to stress you, that's all'' Natatawang sabi nito.

''Mum, have you undergone a situation like mine?''

''Alin yung buhol buhol ang lovelife?'' buska nito

''Mum hindi buhol buhol ang lovelife ko. It's only complicated I guess''

''Hindi ko pa nararanasan yan but I guess you are having the fun of your life'' napapaisip ka eh. Isn't that a good sign?''

''Good sign?''

''Good sign because it only means you are regretting what you did. You woudn't be thinking about it now if you really did the right thing. There should be no remorse isn't it?''

''Pero heto ka, nagiisip so it only means you freaking did the wrong thing''

Napatingin ako sa sinabi ni Mummy. And it hit me hard.

''Wanna go shopping?'' Mamya ay sabi nito sa akin.

''Take Dad with you Mum'' Sabi ko naman sa kanya.

''No, I want you to date me. Wala ka namang girlfriend diba?'' Pang didiin pa nito.

''Fine!'' Sabi ko nalang kay Mummy dahil hindi naman ako tatantanan.

''Get a life will you Eric?''

''I will Mum, I just have to figure out something important''

''Dayzy must still be in the hospital'' bulong ko sa sarili ko matapos marinig ang recorded voice message ng Globe.

'Ok, who is Dayzy really to me?' naisip ko.
