2. I like him

"You are married to a pancake?"
"Not anymore. I ate it the same day."

He giggled. He fucking giggled

"You're funny"

And you're hot.

"Thank you."
We made a small talk while eating our pancakes. He is really funny I can say. He told me how he and his best friends are trying to form a band.  I told him about my undying love for Dylan O'Brien. We found out we're both huge All Time Low fans and I told him how good Teen Wolf is and how he should watch it

"Maybe I'll check it out later, today" he said taking the last bite from his pancakes

Few minutes later my mom called my name.
"Jenn?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you ready to go?"
"Yes, I am."
"Let's go then."
We said our goodbyes and went out of the building.
"See you at school?" Luke asked smiling at me
"Sure". I said smiling back.

We get in the car and drove back home.
We were in silence till my dad spoke
"So Luke , huh?"
"What about him?"
"You like him."
"I definitely don't. Even if every girl is falling for him. I'm not that easy to impress. And I also think he might be gay."

I lied.

I actually liked him. And after the time I spent with him I'm pretty sure he's not actually gay.

"I didn't say you're easy to impress. I just noticed the way you was looking at him. Please just be careful. He's not the best company you can find."

"What do you mean?"

"I just know a few things about him, but I actually didn't know he was David's new son"

"New son?"

Okay now I'm confused

"He married Liz a while back." my dad said taking a right turn

"And what are the things you know about him?"

"Honey, this kid has a record for smoking and underage drinking so just be careful"

My dad was a cop. That's why he knows about the record I guess. But I was confused. Luke doesn't  seem like the type of guy to get high. And about the drinking part I believe we're all in this together.
But I can't know because I simply don't know him well enough.

"Don't worry about it."

It was Monday.
Again.

I had school.
Again.

I get up and went to the bathroom to do what I had to do. After that I pick up high waisted black jeans and silver tank top and got dressed. I put some mascara ,brushed my  hair and went downstairs.

"Good morning." I greeted my mom who was in the kitchen making breakfast.

"Good morning. Will you stay for breakfast?"
"No. I have to go or I'll be late again."
"Okay, then. See you tonight."
"Bye, mom."

I took my backpack and exit the house. The school was just a few minutes away so I was walking every day.

Also because I didn't have car , because according to my parents I don't need one.

I entered the building of the school when my best friend  Skylar saw me and run straight up to me
"You okay?" I  asked her.

"No. I'm not. You wanna know why? Because my best friend didn't told me she was on a date with Luke Hemmings yesterday. "

"What are you talking about? I wasn't on a date with him. Just my parents and I had breakfast with his family. That's all. And how do you even know about it?"
