Sang's POV:

"Well then, shall we go inside pumpkin?" Sean asks as we stood on my front porch having just watched Mr. Blackbourne drive away.

He wants to come inside?

Oh god! I didn't think this through. Maybe it's not too late to have Mr. Blackbourne come back and take Dr. Green with him? I groaned mentally. I knee he needed to ask questions, as well as answer a few of mine so I took a deep breath and reluctantly nodded before entering my house, allowing him to follow behind and close the door.

"Dr. Green, lock the door please? I'll be right back, would you like some coffee?" I asked with a sigh.

"Sure thing Miss Sang, and yes please." He answered with a smile in his voice and I mentally groaned again. Now was not the time for a flirty Sean, right now was time for a serious Sean but I shrugged it off and nodded towards the living room.

"Go ahead and make yourself at home. I'm going to check on River and then I'll make us some coffee and we can talk." I said as I made my way down the hall to my sons room.

Peeking my head in, I see him on the floor playing with his cars on a rug made to look like a little road. He looks up when I open the door and smiles at me.

"Who was it mama?" He asked before turning his attention back to his toys.

"It's someone I used to know before you were born little man. You go ahead and keep playing, I'll be in the living room talking to him if you need me. Okay, sweetheart?" I smiled tightly at him and he nodded never looking up.

I cracked his door, and turned around walking into the kitchen. I was shaking slightly from my argument with Mr. Blackbourne earlier. I'd never talked to him like that before, never raised my voice to him either, and just like back then, the aftermath of a nervous situation was always the shakes.

I quickly made us too mochas using my expresso machine and took our drinks into the living room, but when I entered Dr. Green was still standing, looking around at the pictures I had of River and me throughout the last four years.

He was currently looking at one of my favorites. I had taken it when river was about 3 months old and he had fallen asleep on his teddy bear I'd boughten for his nursery. He was wearing a white long sleeved onesie and had a tan blanket lightly laid over his legs. It had been adorable at the time- still was- and I had taken the photo and gotten it framed right away.

I cleared my throat as a shuffled further into the room to let Dr. Green know I was ready and he turned and looked at me with a small, sad smile. I passed him his coffee and took a seat on the couch, drawing my legs up and tucking a foot under my butt while I rested the other leg next to it, and Dr. Green took a seat on the oversized chair across from me.
