Chapter 33: Painless Happiness

Tsunayoshi's Point Of View:

"T-this thing can help us enter Otouto's mind..?" I asked suspiciously as Gianini gave us a helmet looking headgear. Gianini grins as he placed the same weird looking headgear on Otouto's head, reassuring "Us, Spanner and Souichi worked hard on creating those.. No need to worry, 10th..". Still can't believe it. "It's worth a shot, Tsuna-kun.." Enma-kun mumbles as he slowly placed the helmet over his head. I had no reason to doubt once more as I successfully placed it over my head. Both I and Enma were instructed to lie down beside another bed.

"Listen carefully to whatever I am about to say.. Once you got in, your very first priority is to find out the cause of Tsuyoshi's current state. I want you both to find what is needed to find." Gianini instructed as we both heard screeching sounds of some sort of mad scientist's machine. Before any of us react, simultaneous colors conveyed.. swallowed us deep within it.

Next thing I knew, Enma was tapping me to wake up. "What.. happened?" I asked as I felt groggy. Enma shook his head, replying "No clue.. All I know is that we're in the middle of some sort of a city..". City? "Isn't this.." I mumbled onto myself.

".. Tokyo?"

3rd Person Point of View (Authoress):

Enma could only stare at Tsuna until someone bumped onto him. "Aah! S-sorry..!" it spoke up. Enma on the other hand, feel butt first to the ground and could only shook his head, allowing the other party to help him up saying "No.. I wasn't—". Enma's sentence were caught in between of his tongue as familiar emerald green orbs looked at him in worry. Enma didn't even realised that his mouth was agape, panicking the other more. Being stood up, the emerald green eyes teen, Tsuyoshi, frantically looked for something in his bag until a candy was presented. "I hope this could be a help.. I'm really sorry! I was in a hurry to even notice you.." Tsuyoshi spoke up slowly running away from Enma after handing him his candy. Not a moment after, Enma literally thought his eyes would go out of its socket.

Isn't he with Tsuna?

"Why didn't Otouto reacted seeing me..?" Tsuna whispered dejected just as Enma was close to search for him in panic. "Wait.. He didn't noticed you???" Enma asked in realization, Tsuna nodding after.

But why..?

( It's because it's not the real him.. ) a voice spoke up inside Tsuna and Enma's head. Asking how and somehow familiar with the voice, it replies ( You're inside his Parallel Mind.. It's in a phase where the actual Tsuyoshi is literally not there. ) "Not here?? Then how are we—!?" Tsuna frowns looking for a good place to talk aloud along with Enma. ( Like I said, 10th, You have to find something there in order to find Tsuyoshi-sama.. ) it explains, lucky for Tsuna and Enma that they found an abandoned building for the whole 10 minute walk. "Will you be able to instruct us at least a hint of where we'll find it?" Tsuna asks hopeful this time.

In reality, there Spanner was working onto something that looked like a cased computer, just like the thing he used to help Tsuna train his X-Burner. Gianini who had a headset, spoke up to two unconscious bodies of Descendants saying "All I can say is that only the replicas of Tsuyoshi-sama are your only hints.." ( Replica? You mean from earlier?? ) Enma's voice echoed almost mechanically through the cased laptop. Spanner snatched up the headset from Gianini replying "Exactly. I suggest you two get going.. This device won't hold you two up longer." ( Hold us? What do you mean? ) Tsuna's voice now asked almost mechanically as well.

Spanner sucked onto his lollipop explaining "This device can only support you two to not fall over to the state of what your brother had gone through. The longer you stay in there, the shorter this device's capacity shortens. It's like consuming a candy. The more it stays within your mouth, the more it melts with your saliva.." ( For how long will you be able to hold us up on, then? ) Enma's voice spoke up rather disturbed. Gianini took the headset off of Spanner's answering "For only 2 Hours..".
