He was... well, let's put it this way: I've never seen anyone like him. He had dark brown hair, gorgeous brown eyes, and dimples. His hair was really messy, which was great!

"I'm Caedon!"

"I'm Lucia Kendall. Nice to meet you. Oh, and this is Marlee."

Caedon smiled. "Wanna play MarioKarts with me, Lucia? And Marlee, if you want."

Marlee mischeviously grinned and said, "I think I need to shower. But maybe next time. I know Lucia would LOVE to stay, though."

I blushed and just nodded. Caedon moved over and tossed a remote to me.

"Bye Luce," Marlee said, "See you later, Caedon."

She walked out and I became hyper aware of my riding clothes.

Caedon chuckled and said, "So you're a rider too?"

"Yes! I was hoping you were too! Haha, I thought it'd be awkward if you weren't."

Did I just say that? Omigod. How embarassing! I can't believe I just said that aloud.

"Um, yeah, I have a Halflinger named Annie."

"Great!"

We played video games and chatted about horses, home, old schools, and even relationship status (!!!!) for another hour. I looked at the time and said, "Yikes!! I'm supposed to meet Marlee at the Sweet Shoppe in 5 minutes!"

Caedon replied, "I'll walk you there. I need to be done anyway. I was here for an hour and a half before you came. Haha, I have a little bit of a problem."

I smiled and we laughed and talked the whole way to the Sweet Shoppe. We stopped right outside the door and  Caedon said, "Hey, I don't have your number! Any girl that beats me in MarioKarts needs to give me their number." I giggled and entered in my number. "So," Caedon said, "Want to meet up at the Sweet Shoppe on Thursday?" "Sure," I replied, "jus text me when."

"Bye Lucia!"

"Bye, Caedon!"

I walked inside, ordered some sweets, and giggled over Caedon with Marlee for the rest of the afternoon.
