A series of quick short poems I wrote today. Felt like they might be appreciated.

Maybe one day
Love will find me again
Till then I have
Books to call 'darling'

I am a strong woman.
I believe I can.
When I cry I am not weak,
Emotions are real.
Feelings should be expressed.
I am not ashamed of them,
You shouldn't be either.

When asked at the gates
"Heaven or hell?"
I asked them
To take me where you went.

I am that wandering soul
Travelling day and night
Guided by the stars
Shown the way in the morning light
I wander to find a home
Destination that I know.
Destination that I love.

For you it was
A matter of personal space
For me it was
The need to be held
Somehow we met half way
Half a hug was better than none...

All the lights in the world
Can never do justice
To the way
You lit up
My life

In the grander scheme
Of worldly things
I was nothing
But in the grander scheme
Of my life
You became everything.

Midnight finds me
Lying awake,
Thinking of you...

My feelings for you didn't change
But neither did your attitude towards me
Maybe I was a game to you
Maybe I was nothing more than a break from monotony.
But you were my sun, moon, and stars.
You left — left me in the dark...

Knowing you was like knowing love
Losing you was pain I didn't know I could feel.

Losing you
Was like death
Through losing you I
Learnt to breathe again.

It's this feeling
Of having blood in your veins
Get replaced
With pure unadulterated sorrow...
Lungs empty, chest bare
Hair a mess
Wide eyed
Crying...

My heart still wants you
Too bad I ate yours....

AN: Each poem is separated by a large blank space. Thank you for reading. This is also for the sudden influx of followers. Welcome to the gang. :) -Anonimus
