Jasmine was incredibly nervous. She changed her outfit at least three times before giving up and deciding to play it safe. She wore jeans, a plain top with her leather jacket and a scarf. It was chilly in New York. She finished her makeup and was happy that her hair was cooperating with her today.

She got her purse and put everything she'd need for the day in it before putting on her shoes. Anthony knocked on the door right on time and Jasmine opened it grabbing her phone and keys quickly.

"Coffee?" Anthony asked as they walked out the building together.

"Most definitely." She said nodding. It was early, 7:30am to be exact. Rehearsals started in an hour which gave them enough time to get there, warmed up and settled. They walked down the block to what they'd soon find out was both of their favourite place to get coffee. The barista already knew both of their orders and was surprised to see them together.

"I didn't know you two were dating?" Nicole, the barista said. Jasmine looked back for a second not knowing who's she was talking too.

"Oh. No we're not." She said quickly realizing that she was talking to her.

"Oh, sorry. I just assumed."

"It's fine." Anthony said trying to make the girl feel less awkward. The pair talked while waiting for their drinks. Once they were ready, they left and made their way too the train.

"You're gonna love Pippa and Renée, they play your Schuyler sisters. Pippa is the kindest and Renée is like the mom." Anthony said going through a list of everyone Jasmine would soon meet.

"Pippa is Eliza and Renée is Angelica right?" Jasmine asked for clarification.

"Yeah." Anthony said nodding. Jasmine looked outside the window as they got closer and closer. The closer the got the more nervous she got."Don't worry. You're gonna do great."

As Jasmine sat next to the freckle faced boy, she began to think more and more about Hamilton. Was she right for this? She had been nervously tapping her fingers on her thigh, much like the way you would on a desk with long nails. She didn't notice but Anthony did. He took the girls hand in his and she realized what she had been doing.

"Sorry." She said embarrassed.

"Don't worry." He smiled. They didn't release hands, it felt right for them although neither one was going to admit that out loud. When they got to their stop they hurried out and followed the crowd up the stairs. Anthony made sure not to lose Jas behind him, although she'd be able to find her way. Their hands didn't separate until they got to the top and they both looked at their city. It was like seeing it for the first time all over again.

Anthony smiled and then Jas smiled, and then Anthony smiled more seeing Jas smile.

They walked the two blocks to the theatre and talked the whole time. They got along so well that you would assume they had known each other for years. When they got to the outside of the theatre they threw their empty coffee cups into the garbage bin and then went inside. Jasmine made sure to talk to Lin before hand. He gave her all her music and welcomed her with open arms. He was absolutely sure they picked the right girl. Jasmine then met Anthony in the hall and they walked to where they could hear people talking, and where rehearsals would take place.

"Anthony!" Oak yelled across the room as he walked in. Then he noticed Jas walking in behind,"And the new girl!" Not many people where there yet, but the ones that were had been quick to turn their attention.
