Two years later

Cadence screamed bloody murder as she tried to push her baby out. It had the to be worst pain she had ever gone through and one she at that moment never wanted to relive. "Breath baby, breath." She heard Connor say from beside her.

Cadence growled and turned to glare at him. "Why must I do all the work?!" She screamed as another contraction assaulted her.

Connor flinched, wishing more then anything he could take her pain away. He tried holding her hand, but she pushed away the moment a contraction hit and each time he spoke he received a tongue lashing.

Cadence looked to Connor, wondering why he didn't answer and saw the look of pain on his face. Though she knew she want being rational or fair in the moment she didn't care. "You should look in pain! You aren't pushing a child through your crotch!!" Cadence groaned in pain and sagged as the contraction passed, giving her a small moment of rest.

Connor turned to Doctor Simon's, "why isn't our child here yet? Cadence is wore out." Connor had to admit he knew absolutely nothing about childbirth, but he knew that whatever Cadence said to him she didn't mean.

Doctor Simon's sighed, "Alpha every birth is different. Some times it can take a short amount of time and few pushes, but others such as our Luna can being in labor for hours and I know you are concerned, but don't underestimate a mothers nature. No matter how tired our Luna gets she will push our next Alpha out."

Connor opened his mouth to ask how he was so sure, but the question died as Cadence began to scream once again.

Cadence pushed with every bit of strength she could. Her whole body ached and she could feel the sweat sliding down her body. The next push she felt instant relief. She sighed as the pain fled and opened her eyes. She could see doctor Simon's turned away, but tears instantly filled her eyes and fell when she heard the gargled cry of their child.

"A boy!" Simon's said with happiness as he laid the bundled boy in Cadences arms. "Congratulations Alpha, Luna." He added with a soft bow of the head. "I will leave you to enjoy your child. I will come later to check on you Luna."

Connor and Cadence thanked Simon's and then instantly turned their attention to their new bundle of joy. "We never picked out a name..." Cadence ran her finger over their baby boys cheek. Loving the softness.

Connor sat next to Cadence on the bed, smiling and blinking the tears away. "How about..... Logan?"

Cadence looked up to Connor and then back to her baby and smiled. "How about that. Do you like Logan?" She cooed, giggling tiredly. "Our little Logan.. Welcome to the pack."

Connor leaned over and kissed Logans forehead then turned and did the same to his mate. "I love you."

Cadence smiled affectionately and lovingly. "I love you too. I am sorry for what I said.." She k we that she didn't hold it against her, but she still felt guilty.

Connor chuckled. "What did you say? I just heard you being strong and brave. You have given me more blessings then I could ever give you. Thank you."

Cadence chuckled at his suddenly sappy attitude. She had to admit she loved it. Shaking her head, Cadence brought his lips to hers. "Our new adventure."

Connor laid beside Cadence, "rest love. I will wake you when Logan is hungry." Connor watched Cadence nod and gently took Logan from her hands. She seemed reluctant to let the boy go, but after a moments hesitation released him and laid back. She was out in seconds.

Connor propped himself up and looked down at his son. "You my dear son, have the bravest and strongest mommy. I know she would die for you as would we all. Our future Alpha and one I expect great things from."

The end.
