The Game

Chapter 1

*Lin Pov*

"You have been dazed lately Lin, is there a problem?"  my mom asked.

"Nothing, I'm just swamped with homework that is, maan the teachers are cruel!" I lied. To be honest I was worried for Arthur and the others. Morgan the woman who introduced herself to Arthur as his sister tried to take away the scabbard of excalibur. Gosh! Why the heck would that bird even lay her egg while flying? And in that instance?

I ate rapidly with frustration.

"Oh by the way your cousin Kaze would come live with us for a while, her apartment is being renovated so your aunt asked us to take her in" mom said which made me stop eating.

"Kaze- nee? Wasn't she a teacher at some nearby high school now? I haven't seen her in a while" I asked. Kaze-nee is just 3 years older than me but is considered a genius which enabled her to skip some grades in middle school and all of high school straight to college and now she is a teacher.

" Yes, you two were quite close werent you?"

"Uh huh but we haven't been able to contact each other for a while, she's been busy"

[ the next day ]

"Kaze-nee!" I shouted as I ran to hug her.

"I missed you" I sobbed through crocodile tears. She chuckled and just messed my hair.

"There, there, Kaze-nee missed you too" she said then hugged me. I broke away from the hug then helped her put her luggages at her room next to mine. She had to leave a few moments later for a meeting though.

During dinner there was egg but I didn't touch any I saved it for later when I go to bed. Once it was time for bed I ate some and then I was on my room in the castle.

*Kaze's Pov*

My meeting went on for hours and it was already late when I got home. Auntie was finishing some paperwork on the living room when I got there.

"Good evening auntie, I'm home" I greeted.

"Kaze-chan, welcome home, did you eat supper already? I can make something quick for you dear" she offered.

"It's okay auntie, I already ate supper on my way home but do you have a laptop or computer I can borrow? I just need to go over some documents and I forgot mine in the school"

"Lin has a computer in her room, she's asleep but she wouldn't mind if you use it"

"Okay auntie thank you" I made my way upstairs and chucked my blazer in my room and put my hair in a high ponytail. Even with my hair on a high ponytail the tips reached my back some of the hair escaping the knot to frame my face perfectly. I was still wearing my high waist slacks and white long-sleeved blouse. I opened Lin's door quietly as to not wake her. I went to sit in front of the computer, it was still on. I smiled typical forgetful Lin.  I moved the mouse and the black screen came to life displaying a game with the options bar opened asking to resume or restart the game. I got curious and from what I could see it was set on medieval Europe. I clicked resume not wanting to delete Lin's progress then I felt a vacuum sucking me into the screen! What the bloody heck!

It was dark then I was falling straight into a fountain? I managed to scream a bit before going completely underwater. Heck! For a fountain this one is a little deep. I swam up and went to the edge, I sighed in relief when I was at the edge but it was short lived because a sword was pointed at me glinting with a promise.

"Who are you?" A man with long brown hair which was tied at the back asked.

"Uhm, I am Kaze?" it came out more like a question rather than a statement. In the blink of an eye, I was out of the water hands on my back being led by this man to who knows where.
