Kaze's pov

A week had already passed after Lin's departure and I had acquainted myself with the rest of the knights and Lancelot or Xiao lan is totally my favorite next to the germophobic knight named Terry. I had also acquainted myself with the young patissiere who's name I learned as Kier. I also learned that he was orphaned and entered the palace kitchen as an assistant patissiere to provide for himself. I had grown fond of the child.

I was now on the training ground practicing on fighting with a sword as I was used to hand-to-hand combat and using throwing knives but if I am a knight, I had to also wield a sword which is a weapon that I am not confident in wielding yet. Kai trains me the most out of all the knights though because for some reason he likes it. I guess it helps his bruised ego to know that he is better at fighting with swords than me.

"That's it for today Lady Kaze" Kai said.

"I told you to call me Kaze and omit the lady"

"It annoys you and I like annoying you" he said with a mischievous grin. "By the way, your sword skill has improved, you are now better than Lin with the sword but still far from my ability with the sword. I smiled at him but in a threatening manner. He sheepishly smiled at me. I sighed and went to rest by a tree where I ended up sleeping. Merlin came to get me a little while later.

"So why did you come get me?" I asked as we entered his room.

"You are to accompany Arthur and Kai to the north and collect another knight" he said then he pulled something from his sleeve and gave it to me. It was a knife in a leather pouch that had straps on the sides which I suspect as something to secure it around the thigh.

"This is a special pouch, inside is a throwing knife however, the pouch is enchanted to never run out of knives. I heard from Terry that you preferred throwing knives over swords so I acquired this for you. Use it well and come back safe" he said. I nodded and went to get ready for the journey.

You know how it is utterly frustrating listening to a music(you clearly don't like) on loop for hours? Yeah? Well, that's how utterly frustrated I was listening to Kai ramble about different things the whole way to our destination and that was a very, very long way might I add. I don't even know where this boy gets myriad of things to talk about.

"You know, when Lin was-"

"Kai, would you kindly hold your tongue for a little bit, my ears are going to appreciate it greatly and maybe if you keep it up until we go back to Camelot then I might bake you some treats and teach you my way of fighting" I told him calmly as opposed to what I really felt at the moment. He looked at me with twinkling eyes. I sighed.

'Boys will be boys' i thought triumphantly.

"Lady Kaze, have you ever considered being a knight?" Arthur asked still looking ahead.

"Once" I stated.

"What changed?" he asked looking back to me.

"It's boring with all the rules one must follow. I don't like being restricted" I told him.

"My knights aren't" he told me.

"Exactly, YOUR knights who are already set by the Round Table" I told him. "Besides I 'm already helping you guys even though I am not a knight so what use would a title mean to me, a person from another world" I told him.

'Oh Arthur if I could just tell you' I thought but it is important that no one knows of it yet even if I don't really understand Merlin that much, I don't really like his way of handling things especially when I am involved but oh well, come what may.
