Chapter 11

We both turned seeing a very confused looking Danny.

"It's not weird! It's called having fun." I raised my head giving a little nod.

Donn laughed behind me. Danny raised an eyebrow. "Oh really?"

I nodded my head with my arms crossed across my chest. I turned decided to ask a question on my mind.

"So what are you guys being for Halloween?" I asked. They both looked at me blankly.

"Uh... I don't know, vampires...?" Danny said.

"But you cant! Halloween is the one day of the year you get to be something or someone different! Why are you guys so plain?!" I groaned.

They both looked at each other blankly and then back at me. "Come on! We're going costume shopping." I grabbed both of their wrist and tried dragging them way but they wouldn't budge. I sighed and looked at them . "It would really help me out if you guys could kinda, ya know... Help me...." 

They both gave a little chuckle and rolled their eyes before walking with me outside to the car.

Donn drove down the road. The trees ok the side always put me in so much wonder. I loved the woods and always wondered what the little creatures of the forest were doing but now that I knew there was a another world will supernatural creatures, I knew some of them had to take shelter there too.

"Donn, what supernatural creatures live in the woods?" I turned to look at him.

"Well," He was obviously caught of guard on my question. "There's werewolves, elves, fairies, neko's and... Well, there's a lot more too."

I turned back to the woods. "Wow! It's all so amazing! Have you ever met any?" I asked.

"Well, I haven't really met any bit I've seen a few in the woods from a distance." Donn glanced over at me with a smile.

"Do you think I'll ever-HOLY SHIT DONN! WATCH OUT!" I screamed grabbing onto the steering wheel. In the middle if the road there was a man standing there.

Donn's eyes where huge as he spun the wheel trying not to hit the man. My eyes widened as the yellow lights of the car lit the trees. I knew how this was going to end and from there, everything went so slowly.

Donn tried desperately to leap on top if me to save me but the seat belt stopped him. I sat there in shock as Donn screamed my name. I couldn't tell what Danny was doing in the back but I knew he was most likely trying to get out too.

Right as we were about to hit the tree I tightly closed my eyes and tried screaming a spell. ...But it was to late...

I was jerked forward as the car slammed into the tree. Glass flew hitting me and the airbag harshly popped in my face making me hit my head hard against the back of the seat.

Donn still called out to me as my vision began to blur. The last thing I remember seeing is a man's face as he pulled me out of the car.

"Donn...Help..me..." I softly breathed out before I fell limp in the man's arm.

I awoke to a deep growl and a furry nudge. I blinked my eyes open and found a large muzzle in my face. I gave a small scream and leaped to my feet.

In one swift leap the large wolf was at my side herding me. Another wolf stepped up to my other side and they began to circle around me.

"Durere la răul!" I spat as I lowered my head slightly. The wolves only snapped at me making me yelp and jump. "Wha?!" I looked down at my hands. It should've worked?! The spell should've worked?!
