Chapter 12

My father's grip tightened on me.

"Alice, it'll be ok! I'll get you! I promise!" Donn vowed. Tears cascaded down my cheeks as I felt my father's hot breath on my neck.

The werewolves paced around out his side, snarling. My father gave them one glance and a nod before they howled and charged forward.

"Donn!" I called out. My father shook me a little as a warning. Don and Danny leaped in front if the witches taking on the wolves. The grabbed them and threw them to the ground.

The wolves growled and staggered to their feet shaking their fur. Teryn and a few other witches stepped forward and began to chant words.

"Durere pe cele rele." The wolves yelped and shrank back pawing at rheir heads as they whined.

They soon turned and ran off. "Cowards!" My father spat. He tightened his grip on me even more as he looked back at my friends.

"Give her up." Donn growled stepping forward.

"Akita!" My father called and a dark skinned girl in odd black lace clothing leaped out from the shadows.

"Controlul pe cei care beau sângele tău muritori!" She spat. Donn and Danny blinked and tipped side to side before they shook their heads. Their eyes dull before turning black. "I demand you to fest on the blood of the witches!" She called.

"Donn..." I quietly cried out. Donn was blinking a lot as if something was in his eye while Danny stood by him emotionless. They both turned to the coven and stepped forward.

"Ok, I really don't want to do this but, you're both under some mad black magic shit so please forgive me..." Teryn said.

"Durere pe cei sub magie neagră!" She chanted. Donn and Danny werent effected the slightest. "A trezi!" She tried. Donn and Danny still walked forward. "I said A trezi!" She tries once more, a little panicked now.

"Donn please dont..." I begged. This wasn't Donn... I knew he would never do this... The witch had possessed him with her dark magic... I watched with pain as Donn and Danny neared the powerless coven. Magic wouldn't help them this time...

All of a sudden Donn growled loudly and leaped onto Danny. A wide smile spread across my face. He was fighting it?! Donn was fighting it!

My father growled behind me. "Do something!" He snapped at the witch. She fearfully nodded and repeated her spell.

"Controlul pe cei care beau sângele tău muritori!" Donn growled out again and held his head. He threw Danny into a tree and then turned towards us. "I demand you to feast on the blood of the witches!" The witch snapped.

Donn blinked rapidly his eyes going from black to red everytime. "I demand you to feast on the blood of witches! I demand you to!" Donn stormed forward.

"I'd rather feast on your blood." He growled. The witch's eyes widened and she tried stumbling back but Donn took her head and snapped it. "But it's probably to damn nasty." He let her body go and watched it drop to the ground emotionlessly.

He then turned to me and my father who weren't far off. "Do-!" My father's hand cupped around my mouth.

"I'm warning you to step back." My father growled. I felt his fangs graze my neck as a warning. In the corner of my eye I could see Danny rising and shaking his head to clear the dizziness.

Turning back to Donn I could tell he wasn't in any means to be messed with right now. "And I'm warning you to give me my mate back before I rip your fucking head off. That witch really did a number on my head thanks to you." He groaned. The calmness in his voice was almost frightening.

My father took a step back and Danny came barling in. He gasped out once he realized he missed and soon tripped over his own feet, rolling out on the ground.

"Fool!" My father laughed. "You seem to mistake me as an idiot?"

"Well I mean, I just kinda figured because you're brain is so damn small." Danny shrugged.

My father growled and his fangs graze over my neck again. I gave a little scream as they hit a certain spot making the pain grow. He grew back and I could see Donn's anger had grown majorly by the look on his face.

"I see you've already marked her." My father gave a little chuckle. "We wouldn't want something like this to happen." And with that my father bit into the mark. I screamed at the unbareable pain.

"Stop! Stop!" Donn begged reaching out and taking a step forward. My father's fangs exited the mark. My sobs died down. Father was still just as evil as when he was human...I had hopped he would have changed... Maybe then I could bring him back into my life...but not anymore...

"Cuşcă." We all turned to see Teryn had pushed back the petals. The coven had all said the word with linked arms. The air around me became much thicker with much power.

Teryn dipped her head to Donn and Danny and Donn returned it with understanding. The coven could no longer use their power with the newly built barrier, they were outside of it after all.

I couldn't take this anymore. I was the cause for all this so it was my job to fight in this war over me. I would go down fighting if it came to death...

I closed my eyes taking taking a deep breath and then opened them gazing out at Donn with sadness.

"Tutorii, fac apel la voi să vă dezvăluie și să mă protejeze împotriva celor care au adus prejudicii pentru mine!" I had no idea how to summon these guardians I was told I had so, I just said some random shit and called it good.

My chest began to burn and before my father could punish me with a bite to the mark, a bright light shown from the Ying-Yang. A dark, creature with glowing white eyes leaped from one side. Then, a white, winged creature with black eyes flew from the other side.

Both animals, which I soon identified as a falcon and wolf, grew to a large size. I blinked and realized everyone had been thrown to the edges of the barrier.

"Huh...?" Donn shook his head to clear it and then got to his feet.

The wolf stood in front of me while the white falcon hovered next to it. "Alice!" I heard from behind them. "Wha-" The wolf growled and leaped forward throwing me to the side with its muzzle.

I slid across the ground and before I could get up, I was raised into the air by large talons. I gasped out as I saw that the ground was far below. I was brought up even higher and the talons soon released their gentle grip from my shoulders.

The bird had me by its beak but soon moved me to its back where I gripped onto its feathers in fear.

When I looked down again I did not only see one large wolf, but two?!

"Hey!" I looked over and saw Donn casually on the back of another white falcon. It made me feel a little awkward to see how he casually rode it as if it was nothing, while I was here buried in this things feathers, terrified.

"So it's not just me who's the royal blood now is it?" He said smirking.

"In my defense, I just found out..." I gave a weird smile and we both gave a short laugh.

So.... Now that I think about it, this story kinda reminds me of Alice And Wonderland... I SWEAR THAT WAS NOT MY INTENTION XD I mean, new world? And everything that's happening? HER NAME BEING ALICE XD No XD Alice is a name that I hadn't used so I did and everything else was just from my imagination XD

You guys believe me right? ;-; XD ANYWAY!
