"Really? Cause the way you guys were kissing makes it look like it was more than just a thing." Blake still had that annoying smirk on his face.
"Oh haha I'm sorry does that BOTHER you? I'm didn't know kissing someone else was such a big deal." I said as I rolled my eyes.
Blake's annoying smirk turned into him biting his lip. "I'm sorry. I'm just surprised you moved on so fast."
I rolled my eyes and shook my head, "I'm the one who moved on fast? Please, have a seat cause you're wrong. Apparently you haven't moved on from the last girl you dated." Right as I said those words I was immediately taken back by my own words and I regretted them. It kinda made me look like I was obsessing over him and I definitely didn't want to come off like that.
"What are you talking about?" Blake said confused as he looked at me like I was insane.
"I'm sorry; I didn't mean to say any of that." I played with my clothes so desperately wanting to walk away from this situation.
"It's okay, you don't need to have sympathy for me. I've been an ass so there is no need to say sorry."
"Well I really can't argue with that." I chuckled."
A smile spread across Blake's face which made me smile too a little. It started to feel weird because it felt like the old times between us again.
Blake smiled a bit shyly. "I've missed talking to you."
All of a sudden I felt my heart skip a beat... I honestly had no words. Blake decides to just out of the blue say he misses me? I was taken back by the words he said. I didn't know if I should tell him I missed him like crazy too or believe he is bullshitting me into some kind of joke.
"You're kidding right?" I asked as I lifted one brow.
Blake's cheeks immediately turned a faint pink as he rubbed the back of his neck. "No I'm serious, I miss the way you used to tell lame jokes to me all the time. And the times when you would get on my back while I did push-ups.
Oh. My. Gosh Blake was totally bullshitting me. Honestly it made me want to laugh. Does he honestly think saying all of those things will get me back? If that's what he thinks he's totally wrong. I wasn't going to trust him until he told me everything.. and I mean EVERYTHING.
"And to think you were actually being sincere." I said as I put my hand on my head with a smirk.
Blake's eyebrows came to furrow in the middle of his forehead. "You don't believe me?"
"Not for a second." I quickly replied.
"Why is that?" He said as he stepped back.
"Because I know what you are hiding from me; I know what you haven't told me face-to-face." I spoke with a harsh voice. "And until you decide to tell me what really happened in your life and what you've decided to hide me, I'm not gonna believe anything that comes out of your mouth."
Blake looked at me with a shocked expression. He seemed to be taken back from my words and believe me when I say I was too. I had rage built up inside me and I guess it needed to come out.
I turned around and started to walk away, but before I turned the corner I looked at Blake one last time and said "and don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about; there's no need to lie anymore."
And with that I turned the corner leaving Blake wondering.
