He got up from the bed quickly, obviously anxious to be here. He looked almost distraught and anxious. Blake breahted a sigh of relief and stepped closer to me, "it fees great to see you." There was a spark in his eyes which meant he was truly being sincere.
"The feelings are mutual," I responded trying to keep a cool head.
Blake smiled and sat down at my vanity. "I guess I should explain to you why I am here."No words came out of my mouth; I simply nodded my head and stood in front of him. He was here to explain himself and I was going to let him do just that.
He took another shaky breath. "I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for doing this to you. You didn't deserve to be treated like that. After I ended things with you, I realized that I...missed you a lot. I missed seeing you everyday and talking to you like we were best friends. I just missed you so much. It didn't take that long for Blake to break down into tears. He let his head fall into his hands and the tears drip from his eyes. At that moment, I didn't care what Blake had put me through; I walked over to him and hugged him like any kind person would do when they see someone else cry. It honestly killed me inside knowing that Blake was just as hurt as I was.
"Blake," I groaned as I draped my arms around his neck and sat on his lap. Seeing him like this made me feel hurt. "Blake." I said more serious this time making him look up at me.
"Don't beat yourself up for this. I understand that you feel bad for what you did, but you don't need to make yourself sick over it." I gently rubbed away Blake's tears with my hand and held him close."Will you ever forgive me?"
Blake looked at me with some desperation in his eyes. This is the question I thought about every night. Will I ever forgive Blake for what he did to Me? It wasn't just a one minute decision; I had to take consideration into this. I wasn't willing to forgive him that easily, but I was willing to give him a chance to do so.
"I will do anything to regain your trust," he said as he grabbed a tissue wiping his tears.
I sat on my bed next to Blake feeling relieved that we had this talk.
"So we're friends?" Blake asked.
"I love the sound of that."
