Not bad after all

As soon as I got home from school, I decided so much drama has been happened in my life and it's been causing so much stress so I decided to go to the library. It felt good to have some time alone to myself.

"Hey," my head quickly snapped up from the book I was reading to see a boy standing across the table from me. A rather cute boy if I may add. "Mind if I sit here?"

I smiled politely at him, "sure go ahead."

He smiled and sat down. I found it odd that he decided to sit with me when there was plenty of other empty tables around.

"So is there a specific reason you sat here?" I said curiously. The guy chucked lightly which showed his perfectly pearly teeth. My heart skipped a beat as my cheeks heated up. Oh my did I just blush?

"I just thought you were really cute and odd that I've never seen you around here before." His voice was deep and sexy which made me want to melt right then and there. And did I mention how attractive he was? He was the type of guy you made you feel butterflies in your tummy.

"I moved here a couple of months ago and new to the area still." I said as I smiled.

He ran his hands through his brown hair as he adjusted himself in his seat. "Well since you're new to the area, how about I take you out and show you the city? I could show you all the fun places in town; it would be a blast." He said with a smile.

Even though he was really nice and cute, I didn't have any clue who he was. Heck, I didn't even know his name. I'm not just going on a date with a stranger.

"So what do ya say?" He said with a happy look on his face.
"Well I don't even know your name." I said looking into his green eyes.

"My names Evan; I was born in Hawaii and raised there, I moved here about a year ago."

I set my book aside and sat up in my seat correctly.
"My names Autumn; I was born in Seattle and raised there. I moved here because of my mothers job. I like to play video games sometimes and I like people who can make me laugh."

"You like people who can make you laugh?"

I nodded in response.

"Well consider me your soulmate then." He spoke with a funny look on his face that made me chuckle. Guys like him make my day better; guys like him should be with me.

"Where have you been all my life Evan?" I said as I finished my laughing fit.

Evan smirked and I could feel my cheeks heat up again. "So is that a yes to the date?" He said with a smile.

Honestly, I would have said yes in under 2.5 seconds but I hesitated because of the whole Luke thing. Even though I had no feelings for Luke, I didn't want to leave him like nothing. But then again, he does this to all the other girls so he needs a lesson. Besides, this whole plan to get back at Luke was getting boring.

"It's definitely a yes!"
