One shot for Broadway_BlueEyes :) enjoy!

"Whaddya say we get out of here," Killian slurred as he pulled away from the kiss he and Kayleigh were passionately sharing.

Kayleigh giggled and nodded. "Okay."

He smirked as he led the 24 year old to his ship and down to the captains quarters. You can guess what came next...

The next morning

The sun filtered into the captain's quarters, and it teased Kayleigh's eyes open. She looked over at a sleeping -and shirtless- Killian and smiled. "Morning handsome."

"Huh? Oh, morning luv."

Kayleigh got out of bed and changed into her clothes as did Killian. They shared a small smile as they left the room and went to eat up on the deck.

After a lovely breakfast meal, Kayleigh faintly heard the ringing of the clock tower striking an hour before she needed to be at the mills. She kissed Killian's cheek and whispered, "I've got to head to work."

He nodded. "Okay."

"W-will I see you again tonight?" asked a blushing Kayleigh.

Killian smirked. "Smart lass."

Kayleigh walked off onto the dock and then started on her way to work, Killian consuming her thoughts.

After work, at the tavern

"Excuse me sir, have you seen a tall dark haired man here? He has a hook for a hand, and his eyes are a lovely blue...I'm supposed to meet him here tonight." Kayleigh asked the bartender.

He nodded. "He was here earlier. Much earlier today. Said something about sailing the world with his 'beaut'."

Kayleigh bit her lip. "Thank you sir."

"You sure I can't getcha anything?" he asked in his griff voice before scratching his beard.

The brunette shook her head. "N-no thank you." She turned around and headed for the pier, hoping that she was the 'beaut' Killian was talking about. Sure, it was a one night stand, and she'd only known him for a few days of staying at the tavern, but she really liked this dashing rapscallion. He understood her, and she understood him.

"Killian?" she called out, "Are you here?"

There was no reply.

"Killian, it's me, Kayleigh!" she called out, louder, this time.

From behind her she heard a soft chuckle. "Killian?" she said, turning around.

"No, no, I'm afraid he left you behind dearie." the man said.

Kayleigh shook her head. "B-but I was supposed to meet him here..."

"He left you here, dearie. Went off on his own, I suppose. You and I were both too late." the man stepped out into the light.

His face shocked Kayleigh. "W-who are you?"

"Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I," he said, making a strange arm motion, "an Rumplestitskin, at your service, my dear."

"And what service do you have for me?" Kayleigh asked as stead dripped down her cheek. "I don't need anything from you."

Rumplestitskin giggled. "Oh but you do! You need my help with that-" he pointed to Kayleigh's stomach. "Now, you may not know it or see it for a while, but -surprise!- you're pregnant with the child...a-a son of 'Killian Jones'."

"What?" Kayleigh exclaimed. "I don't understand...how do you know this?!"

"I can see the future dearie, and you will bear Killian's son."

"A-and how are you planning to help me?"

"You know he won't care for it, so I'll make sure you never have to see him again in this land!" Rumple said.

Kayleigh shook her head slowly. "H-he left me...and I'm bearing him a son?"

Rumple nodded, touching his fingers together. "Yes, yes."

"And what do you want in return?"

"Oh, something simple, like that vest you took from him!"

Kayleigh ripped off the leather vest. "Here. Now I don't have to see that jerk ever again, correct?"

"Precisely."

Kayleigh nodded. "Thank you."

"Run along now. In nine months, you'll have a little boy taking up all your time...good luck, dearie."

Four years later

"Mama, what's that?" Kayleigh's son Oliver asked, pointing out the window at purple fog, seemingly engulfing the land.

Kayleigh's jaw dropped. "Oliver, baby, come here."

"What's that?" Oliver said as he fiddled over to his mama. His ocean blue eyes reminded her everyday of Killian, but also of her father. She chose to think of her father more than Killian, for obvious reasons.

"I-I don't know, Ollie, I don't know."

And that's when the curse took them to Storybrooke, where they would forget everything and stay there for 28 years...that is until Emma Swan broke the curse, and their memories came flooding back.

For the first few months, everything was as normal as it could be-which is not very normal, but still, life was good for Kayleigh and her son.

Oliver, one day, had wanted to go to Granny's and have pancakes, so Kayleigh, like on any day, took her son into Granny's. He giddily told Granny the order from Kayleigh's arms, but when a cup dropped and shattered on the ground, spilling hot cocoa on the floor, Oliver jolted.

Kayleigh whipped her head around to see who had made the noise. Her mouth opened slightly. Her heart skipped a beat.

"Killian?" she whispered.

His eyes widened even more. He seemed shocked. "Kayleigh?"
