Request: Where you go back to visit Nate's family back home and you two end up hanging out with his friends and they start flirting with you and he gets all huffy

"Why you so nervous, lil' mama?" Nate questioned me with a grin as he took his eyes off the road for a second to look at me. I shifted uneasily, shrugging my shoulders.

"I'm not nervous, I just– Why don't you have any female friends?" I scowled, a hint of a whine lacing my tone. I'd feel a whole lot better hanging out with his buddies if some girls were part of 'the crew' as well. Nate just laughed.

"I do have female friends. They're just not hangin' with us today. Are you saying that being around the guys makes you uncomfortable?" That's exactly what I'm saying.

"No." I denied a little too quickly.

"Well good, 'cause there's no turning back now." His cheeky grin widened as he parked the car, revealing that we'd be having lunch at some burger place. I kept quiet when he walked me inside and greeted the guys with loud hollers and bro hugs. See, my problem wasn't the boys themselves because I'm sure they're very nice people, but it's the fact that I would be the only girl there. I mean, sure, what girl wouldn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of attractive guys? That might be true, although I was anxious that I'd just be left out of everything.

"Aye, wassup, Y/N?" Swazz, the only boy I recognized here, greeted me with a hug. I breathed a sigh of relief as I hugged him back.

"God, John, finally a familiar face." We laughed together. "I missed you back in LA! How've you been?" We quickly launched into a conversation to catch up with each other's lives, and I was beginning to think that this wouldn't be so bad as long as I had John and Nate keeping me company.

But then Nate left to order for everybody.

At that point it was like the switch had been flipped, and all attention turned towards me. The boys sat all around me, their eyes gnawing at my appearance.

"You must be the infamous Y/N." One of them started. "I'm Justin. You know, Nate's always talkin' about you, but I don't think he ever mentioned how gorgeous you are." I felt an instant blush circling my cheeks as the others agreed.

"So like, are y'all exclusive or something? He hasn't really gone into detail." Another one added. I almost looked appalled at his question. What were they trying to get at?

"I don't really feel comfortable talking about our relationship with you guys." I mumbled, looking towards John, but he was busy on his phone. I shifted in my seat, staring holes into Nate's back, hoping that he'd turn around and see what his buddies were doing. Alas, I came to no success and was stuck with the constant questions these boys had.

Almost fifteen minutes had passed, and finally Nate returned with the receipt and order number.

"Hey, lil' mama, did you meet everyone?" He questioned as he sat beside me and draped his arm around my waist.

"Yep, definitely spoke with them." I nodded, pressing my lips together in a tight smile. "They're.. cool." I didn't want to ruin the day by outing the boys because I knew Nate was excited about me meeting them and being part of their crew. I mean, aside from their comments and questions, I'm sure they really are cool people. I just have yet to meet that side of them.

We all talked as a group for the next couple of minutes, and it was all good and dandy, but as soon as Nate and Swazz got up get our food when our order number was called, the boys jumped back at it. This time, with a little more courage.

Justin was the first to make a move, sliding into the booth beside me and flashing a crooked smile.

"So, sweet cheeks, how long are you staying in Omaha?" He asked. I let out a small laugh as I tried to move away from him as discreetly as I could.

"Just for the week. Nate's got some studio stuff to work on back in LA next Monday." I answered with a nod, smiling.

"Oh, what a shame. I don't think this town will ever look as beautiful after you leave." One of them commented. I couldn't help but laugh, mostly because that was cheesy as hell but also just to cool down my blush. They sure were good with their words.

I was surprised to see that Justin was actually trying to spark a proper conversation with me, and over the next few minutes, I had grown a little more comfortable. It was back to fun and games for now.

"Wait, wait, let me see your hand." Justin said through laughs as we were just discussing size differences. God knows how we even got to this topic, but I thought nothing of it as I put my hand up to his. "Your hand's so small!" He said in awe. I just laughed, scrunching my nose as I shook my head.

"It's not that small! Maybe your hand is just too big." I hadn't realized the context of my words, and so I was left to face a smirk on his face.

"Well, you know what they say about big hands..." He suggested, wagging his eyebrows. I laughed, pulling my hand from his to give his shoulder a light push.

"What do they say?" Nate's voice cut in all of a sudden, almost startling me. He looked serious, kind of... jealous, even? I knew Nate could be protective, but I've never seen this side of him.

"Nothing, bro. I was just dickin' around." Justin shook his head, and we laughed together. Nate didn't seem too amused as he pushed the tray towards the middle of the table.

"Well go dick around somewhere else. You're in my seat." He said with a cold tone, and I felt an awkward tension settling in the air. I didn't want any trouble, especially out in a public place. Justin put his hands up in surrender, shaking his head as he mumbled some incoherent complaints. Nate kept a glare on him the whole time he moved until he was content with the distance between me and Justin. When he sat down beside me, I could sense how tense he was, so I laid a hand on his arm.

"Are you alright, Nate?" I inquired in a hesitant tone, not wanting to set him off.

"I'm fine, baby girl." He muttered. "Just eat your burger, so we can go home." I pursed my lips and kept my gaze low as I picked up my food and started to eat.

"He wasn't doing anything wrong." I spoke up in the middle of our silence. I didn't want to be the cause of any ruined friendships, since I knew that Nate was pretty close with all of them. "We were just talking, I promise."

"You were talking. He was flirting. I don't like that shit, Y/N. You know that."

I sighed, placing my hand on his cheek to make him face me since all he had been doing was glaring at the other boys. He didn't make eye contact with me, though.

"But I'm still yours, aren't I? None of them even come close to you, babe. You're all I care about, and I'd never let some dumb boy I just met steal me away from you." I assured him, to which he just sighed and rolled his eyes. "You're pretty cute when you're jealous though..." I cooed, giggling as I brushed my thumb against his cheek.

"I ain't jealous." He snapped, but I could see him trying to hide a smile. So I stared him down, my smile never faltering. "Maybe just a lil' bit." He admitted, finally letting up. I laughed and pressed a kiss to his lips.

"Well there's no need to be. I came to Omaha with you, and I will damn sure be leaving here with you."
