Chapter 14

Kimberley's POV

Monday morning, ergh school. Then I remember who my perfect girlfriend is. I instantly smile and get out of bed and hop in the shower. Cheryl said she's gonna come to my house and walk with me to school she insisted even though I live even further away from the school than she does. I wonder if I should say anything to Ben. Or jake or any of them. They've all been texting me but I've either not replied or only replied with one world answers. There's nothing more to say. I guess I'll stay with cheryl today.

Cheryl's POV

"Hey baby" I smile widely at Kimba

"Hey" she replies as I kiss her lightly on the lips.

"I'll introduce you to nadine Sarah and Nicola today, I think you'll get on ok now, should we tell them about us or if you want to wait. Or..?" I ask

"Ok babes, I think we should wait a few weeks before we go public."

"Ok that's fine with me too"

"Ok then lets go or we'll be late!" Kimberley worries rushing down the street. I laugh running after to her.

"Hey girls as you probably know this is Kimberley."

"Hey Kimberley" Sarah and Nicola smile.

"Hi" Kimba replies nervously

"It's ok, you know, we don't bite!" Nic laughs

"Hey Kim we've already met so hi again. So are you two going to Jakes party on Friday night?" Nadine asks me and Kim

"He asked me last week and I wasn't going to but if everyone else is I will go" Kimberley answered.

"Yeah I'm going he texted me ages ago about it." I say.

"Us too, so what's everyone wearing?" Sarah queries.

Then everyone starts talking about clothes, shoes, bags, make up and jewellery.

The week couldn't go fast enough for us but it was Friday night and everyone was getting ready at mine.

"Hey chez.. I think we should tell the girls about us now" Kimberley whispers in my ear.

"Ok babe" I reply

"Girls, me and Kimberley want to tell you something" I wait for everyone to turn and look at us

"What?" Nic asks

"Well me and chez are, er well together"

"OMG!! You two are like a couple?!" Nadine squeals

"Well yeah kind of" I grin

"Aw that's so cute!" Sarah coos.

"I know! Chim! Haha" Nic laughs at her own joke.

Kimberley's POV

It's 7.30 and we have just arrived at jakes. Nic and saz have gone off to get a few drinks. Me chez and diney are talking to a few people.

"Hey kim!! I'm just gonna go and get a drink ill be back soon baby!!!" Cheryl shouts very loudly in my ear over the music. I simply wave and nadine pulls me into the garden.

"So.. How did- what did- why- argh! How did this happen.. With cheryl?" Nadine asks a bit frustrated with herself.

"I don't know, I guess we just liked eachother and we kissed and it was amazing, and now, well, I love her and she loves me back. It's going really great. I actually can't imagine life without her now! She is just so perfect. I've wrote a song for her, do you want to look at the lyrics?" I ask digging into my black, shiny handbag.

"Aww and yeah! I bet chez will love it" nadine grins taking the paper from me.

I've been washing my face in

"That's all I've got so far" I smile shyly.

"That's so sweet kim" nadine sniffs and I realise she is crying.

"Nadine?! What's up babe?" I ask worried

"It's just so cute! And I guess I just wish I had something with someone who would appreciate me like you do cheryl" nadine sobs

"Aw hey now stop crying you'll ruin your make up!" I laugh putting an arm around her.

"Sorry babe!"

"Haha don't apologise!"

"Right then, lets go back inside its freezing out here!" Nadine complains shivering. She takes my hand as she leads me through the crowds of people.

"Let's go and get a dr- CHERYL WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!" Nadine screeches disgusted.

"What is she doing..?" Then I see her slamming some boy against the wall kissing him with her hand down his jeans. When she sees me she goes so pale, you'd think she was about to faint. We just stare at eachother sadly. I snap out of my gaze when I hear a scream.

"OW!" It was cheryl. Nadine had just slapped her.

"YOU BITCH! How could you do this to kim?! You really don't deserve her!" Nadine screamed back in her face.

"Come on Kim you can stay at mine tonight. Lets go" nadine pulls my hand but I shake it off and walk up to cheryl.

"Here" I whisper jamming the lyrics into her hand. " I thought you loved me"

By then the tears have started rolling down my cheeks and I have to go, she doesn't deserve to see me cry. I take nadines hand and we make our way through the tons of people.

"No! Wait! Kim! Nadine! Stop!" Cheryl pleads following us.

"Cheryl go away you've caused enough damage already, just leave it" nadine says more calm than she was just 2 minutes before.

"Not until my kimba listens to me" Cheryl replies.

"I'm not your kimba anymore cheryl" I mutter.

"Please don't ruin this for us kim"

Now that makes me angry, I feel it rising through my whole body and I have to unleash it.

"Me! Ruin it?! You've already ruined it by kissing that boy! Fuck off cheryl, you're not wanted around here."

"I love you" she responds quickly. I have to say something back quick or I will tell her I love her back so I simply reply with

"I don't."

"You don't mean that" and she crumbles on the floor crying. She already knows the answer to that.

"I do" when she doesn't say anything I carry on talking.

"Go home cheryl" and I walk off with nadine to her house.
