Julia Kirigiri's POV
May 4th - 11:13AM"Where on earth are we going?" Griffin whined from the seat of the car. "We've been driving for ages..."
"To tell you the truth, I have no idea." I glanced towards Griffin for a second. "I need a place that's abandoned, away from the city. Q, can you search up a place for me?"
Surprisingly, I didn't hear any background typing noises from Q. He instead answered back almost immediately, with no hesitation. "I know a place on the outskirts," He began. "It's spacious, and nobody's touched the place in years."
"Wouldn't that be trespassing, though?" Griffin pointed out. "I don't think we can just ring up the guy who owns it and go 'hey, can we destroy this place?'"
I heard a meowing on Q's side, which led me to imagine him sitting at his desk, stroking his cats in thought. "Um, you won't exactly be trespassing..." He murmured, before Griffin interrupted him.
"What, you already rang the guy up?" He asked Q, peeking at me from his seat. "That was quick!"
"No, I, um-" Q cleared his throat before speaking again. "I own the place. That's why you wouldn't be trespassing. Because I give you permission to enter..."
"Q, Autumn is probably going to burn that place up into flames." I noted. "Are you sure about this?"
"Like I said, I haven't been there in years. It's abandoned." He explained to us. "It has no worth to me anymore."
"You could've at least given the place to me!" Griffin exclaimed from the back of the car. "I would want a cool place like that!"
"Why would I give it to you, of all people?" I could hear Q sighing in frustration. "The only person who would destroy the place faster than Autumn would be you, Griffin."
"Why doesn't anybody love meeeee-?!" Griffin sunk in his seat, whilst I tried to hide back a smirk.
"Q, is there any tech equipment that you left there?" I asked him. "We could use that to our advantage, given your skills."
"O-Oh...you think my skills are good?" He hesitated for a second, possibly pausing to think. "...is there anything else that you think of me?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" I blurted out immediately. I admit that I probably should've thought of my words first, but...
"U-Um, nothing! It, um, was just a joke! Mm." Q began to rapidly type in the background. "I left some tech equipment back there, so whilst you're getting to the location, I'll try my best to get them working again. Do you want me to try and weaponise some of them?"
"That would be preferable, yes." I glanced over to the road signs up ahead; the trip would only take a couple of more miles up the road. "I don't know how long we'll have, but I'm sure you'll be able to manage it."
"...I'll try my best with what's in there. I'll be honest with you, it's like looking at an old yearbook in here." He explained. "The oldest one I can find is something I made when I was six years old. It's literally a small toy helicopter that was made to carry things that I couldn't..."
