I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has helped with all the details and suggestions that made this story possible.

Thanks to the twins in England for all the pictures, the insight, and the virtual tours of Great Britain and the Cornish countryside. I've never been there but their help made it possible to feel like I had been there. They made it real to me, and I can never thank them enough for that.

Part three is dedicated to John Johnson, my best friend growing up and the inspiration behind the heroic and noble John Hardstone. He was one of the funniest and most loyal people I had ever known. He was a good man and a fierce friend. I hope, wherever he is in the Realm Beyond, that he appreciates what I've done.
