IV - No, I'm the Boss.
On her way to the room Theo had told her to meet them in, Curtis was side tracked by one- perfecting her makeup, and two- the box of donuts Theo was hiding on his desk.
That being said, she was more then late, as she licked the chocolate frosting off of each finger and walked down the hallway.
Again with her classy as ever outfits, Curtis had this time wore a velvet material, burgundy pencil dress, with a very low cut v-neck exposed her mid-chest down to her ribcage.
Along with that, matching pumps, wrist length black satin gloves, and her hair was done in a pin-up like style, with rolls on the front two sides of her head and rest of the platinum blonde hanging down and curly.
Today's lipstick color of the day, was a matte deep brownish red.
The reached the door, slowly opening it and stepping inside, right in time, it seemed to be some real good shit was about to go down. Nobody seemed to hear her, as they very well didn't even share a glance with her.
Across the room, she saw Galavan standing near Greenwood and Jerome, with gun in hand.
God what were they bickering about now.
She slowly urged herself closer to the scene, as she began to listen as she leaned against the wall, she was sure people saw her at this point, as Greenwood glanced to her and his eyes went wide.
"And what's the secret to good comedy?" She heard Jerome say, then a click,"Timing."
Ah, so it was good ol' fashioned Russian Roulette they were playing, but what for?
"And who's the boss?" Click,"I'm the boss." He pointing the gun to Greenwood's chest. "I win."
"You win."
Curtis saw Greenwood's face in defeat and shook her head, clicking her tongue,"Oh no, no, no, that's just not right," she pushed passed Galavan, taking matters into her own hands, she grabbed the gun, cocked it back, and smiled.
"Oh!" Jerome said with delight,"The Queen is here," he smirked at her.
Rolling her eyes, Curtis shoved the gun into her mouth, so the barrel hit the roof of her mouth, as she pulled the trigger, everyone froze, cringed.
Nothing.
She pulled it out, shoved the gun aside into Jerome's chest and chuckled darkly, smirking awfully wide,"I'm the boss," she said in a deep voice, still laughing. "And I thought we established this, way befote this, she glared at Theo, then Jerome, and Greenwood,"but, now it's settled," she chuckled, turning and walking the other way.

"I admire your sense of courage, you just don't give up do you, always gotta' get what you want huh? Daddy's girl."
"Who you calling Daddy's girl, Mommy Killer?" Curt snapped, taking and drag from her cigarette as the wind blew, causing and whistle in her hair.
"Galavan would give you whatever you wanted at the drop of a hat, please," Jerome chuckled.
"He's not my real, father, but he's a hell of alot better than the one I'm growing up with."
"Really now, daddy issues?"
"Family issues," Curt laughed.
"Oh, do tell," Jerome said, intrigued.
Curt dropped the cigarette, stepping on it,"What makes you think I'm gonna tell you my entire backstory huh?"
"I just think you need to vent, and you will, you know I'm right," Jerome chuckled,"C'mon, Curt, I'll call you Curt, it sounds classy."
Curtis sighed, and sat down on a so rage crate that was for some reason up on the roof, she patted the space next to her, without looking at him, she looked out at the city,"Sit."
Jerome, smiling widely, did as told, his creepy smile grew wider as he stared at her, expecting her story to pour out.
"I live with my two parents, Jordyn and Lorraine Cade, my sister, Vixen, and my Nanny, of course, Megan." Curtis began, still not making any eye contact with him, she only stared out into the open sky, but Jerome was the exact opposite, smiling and watching her every move and gesture.
"Do go on," he stated, biting his lip softly.
"Hush, I go as I please,"Curtis glared at him, then looked forward again as she spoke,"As soon as my little sister was born, it was like they forgot about me, she was the perfect daughter, they neglected me. The only one who I could talk to, was Megan, and though she acts like she could care less, she cares, and she helps me, with anything I need." Curtis cleared her throat.
"Nonetheless, my parents still give me money, as you can tell, not as much as my sister, but still, their richer then ever." Curt sighed, shaking her head,"I want to kill them, so fucking bad, it's not Vix's fault, they ask why I can't blame her, she didn't do it, she wouldn't harm a fly, not gonna hurt someone who I'm responsible for defending."
"Megan is the only one who knows about my . . . . Problem, Vixen suspects it, she knows, a little," Curt licked her lips, final looking at Jerome, making eye contact,"I will kill them someday, I kill the people I care about, I can't get obsessed or its off with their heads, but them, I'm not obsessed,I just hold a pure hatred for them, with a passion, ya know? Of course you do, your mommy murderer."
"So, that's it, how did Theo get into this?" Jerome felt like he was cracking her open.
Curtis laughed aloud, it was a joyful t laugh though, odd enough,"He found me covered in blood, I knew who he was, told him who I was, he took me under his wing, and I'm like his adopted daughter ever since," she laughed, then there was a silence shared between them, as she felt Jerome's arm drap around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
"I think your very interesting, Miss Cade," he whispered into her ear,"I love it, and uh,' he chuckled darkly,"I can help make your fantasy of killing your parents come true," he pecked her cheek.
That feeling arouse into her gut again as she gulped, loosing control in that second, she just opened up to him- fuck.
"Guess what," she smirked, looking at Jerome.
"What?" He smirked back.
"You have a price to pay for letting you listen to that Momma's Boy."
"Yeah, what's that?" He cackled.
"You'll see," she winked, grabbing his wrist and leading him to her own room.
Needless to say, she had lost all control, and fallen.
She fell hard, and whoever neared him was going to get the cutting edge of her temper.
