"Eira, I have to ask you something," Hiccup was sitting in a campfire. Every single one of their friends were there, and then there was Eret. Eira ignored the guy, and replied to her brother, "Yes, Hiccup?" He was sitting next to Astrid and her, so it was easy to talk to him. "What was your life like, before we met each other?" Eira was expecting the question, for quite a long time, but when she tried answering, her breath left her.

"That's quite a sudden topic, but, do you all really want to know?" Eira asked, before receiving a chorus of "Yes." Eira shrugged, "Alright then, you all know that I was taken as a young child by a Monstrous Nightmare right?" Almost all of them nodded. Eret didn't nod, and she expected such from him. "This is what, happened when I was taken back to Berk."

There was a child, a small toddler, being carried by a Monstrous Nightmare. As the dragon set down the young child, it was immediately attacked by Vikings. It let out a horrible screech as it defended the young child, believing it to be it's own offspring. The toddler screamed as her mother was being slaughtered. "MAAAA! MAAAAAA! MAAAAA!" Her throat was almost hoarse due to her screaming. As the Nightmare was finally killed, it let out a horrible sound that scared the toddler. One of the Viking men saw the young child and walked towards her. The toddler backed away, as he had participated in killing her mother. "Shh, don't worry, I won't hurt you." The young baby hesitated, swatting him away as he tried to carry her. The man noticed a small birthmark, the shape of a tooth on her neck. "Come on, it's alright. Nothing is gonna hurt you." He managed to pick up the little girl, who screamed. The other men thought he had hurt her but no, she was actually shouting at them through Dragonese. They had no clue what to do, as they couldn't understand her threats.

The child was taken in by the man that tried to talk to her. His name was Bard Dragonn Tooth. He and his wife tried communicating with the young girl, teaching her how to dress right, which took a long time, learning how to speak Norse and how to read and write. The girl grew up under the alias "Eira" as she was found in the snow. "Papa, I saw a boy today!" The young girl was wearing a red jacket, and her hair was braided. (Basically the outfit in the picture ^^^) She was jumping up and down. "That must've been the chief's son, he lost his sister a long time ago, before you were brought to us on fiery wings," Bard, her surrogate father, explained to her. "Papa! I know how I came to you, but the boy looks like me!" Eira hadn't sounded so excited in a long time.

"Where exactly did you see him, Eira?" Her surrogate mother, Eden, asked her. "I saw him at Gobber's, Gobber says that he works with me! I could have a friend!" Eira chirped. Both her parents chuckled, "I'm sure of it, little gal." Eira looked so happy. "Papa! Can we go fishing today?" Bard shrugged, "I don't see why not. How about it Eden, do you think we should?" Eden smiled, "I suppose, I am craving a few fish for dinner today." Eira happily nodded, and ran to get the fishing spear and net. She looked for them and followed her father outside to fish with him.
-------Time Skip-------
"Eira!! Look out!" The young girl had been trying to pet a Nadder who was attempting to capture a sheep. She was pushed back and Bard shielded her from the Nadder's fire. He speared it and the Nadder let out a terrible sound gurgling in it's throat, scaring Eira, who was eight at the time and got a flashback from a Nightmare, who died the same way. "What were you thinking?" He shouted at her. "I-I just tried to pet it, I didn't think it would hurt me."

"Eira, Bard!" Eden ran up to them, "Are you alright?" She directed that at Eira, who was too young to understand how to deal with dragons. "Take Eira inside, she still needs to hide, she's too young to be out here, take her inside Eden! Now!" Bard commanded. Had Eira known back then that Bard and Stoick were friends and fought together, she would have forgiven him easily. But that was the day Bard died. Nobody grieved his death more than Eden and Eira. Since Bard was the one who worked a lot to keep the family stable, both Eden and Eira worked hard to have food on the table, and weapons to guard themselves from dragons, though it was against Eira's morals. Soon, due to overworking herself, Eden died as well. Soon it was only Eira, left alone at age 14. She worked so much, that others found it shocking how she didn't collapse of exhaustion. Many years later, however, after four years that Eden had died, she met Hiccup.

"And that's my story, " she stopped after seeing so many open mouths and shocked eyes. Astrid hugged Eira, "That's so sad, my little baby shouldn't suffer like that!" Eira was confused, "Astrid, I'm your sister-in-law, can you get off please?" Hiccup pulled his fiancée off Eira, "That's so sad, why didn't you tell anyone before?" Eira shrugged, "Nobody asked, so I didn't speak of my life to anyone."  Tuffnut sat next to her, "Well, you don't have to be alone anymore, you've got us." Eira was shocked at his commentary, "Is this the same Tuffnut I met years ago? Are you someone else?" She held his face and he turned a bright tint of red. "So what? I'm still a friend." Eira laughed, letting him go, "Don't automatically friendzone yourself. You might get out of it quicker than you think." She failed to spot Ruffnut laughing, and Eret's sudden change in expression. It was almost, too sudden to click into mind. "Hey, Eret are you alright? You seem a little, jealous," Snotlout teased him, and Eret sent him a glare, causing the rest to laugh.

The answer is yes. I am trying to see if I can upload a chapter weekly. It might not work, but hey, I said I was trying.

I'm putting in a very new ship, one I think is brilliant.
