"What about that young boy you danced with? Wasn't he your chosen one?"
Eira resisted to roll her eyes, "It was a mistake, someone else is his chosen one, he danced with me at the wrong time. Besides, you know I'm with someone already."
Valka smirked, "Yes, I know, and that Tuffnut boy seems to be a lucky one. But you know, sometimes fate is difficult to run away from." Eira nodded, looking outside a window to see Tuffnut waiting for her. She gave her mother a kiss on the cheek, "I promise that I'll marry someday, but love doesn't appear out go nowhere."
Out of nowhere, someone knocked on the door. Eira, in a rush, opened the door, to see Eret. "Oh, um, sorry, bad time?" Eira shook her head, "No, actually, I was just about to leave, are you here with Tuffnut?" He seemed to shrug, but she knew that he was. "Alright, tell him I'll be down in a few minutes, let me just get something." Eret nodded, he saw Valka in the back and saluted, "Good morning Lady Valka." "Good morning Eret." He was about to continue talking, but Eira closed the door on him, knowing very well the tactic that her mother was using. Turning to see her mother, Valka had the cheekiest grin on her face.
"Mother, enough," she rolled her eyes, and the chief's mother relaxed her smile. "It must be so exhausting being the Dragon Master, you take after me," Her mother gently cupped her face. Eira smiled, "I got it mother, don't worry about me so much, you already have a Chief son to worry about." She gave her mother a quick hug before leaving her room and quickly walking downstairs.

Eira had no idea that being a Dragon Master meant treating every single dragon. Her being the only person in Berk to communicate with dragons, and empathize with them, made her an important asset to the Hooligans.
She made a small chirping sound and looked around to see the small dragon babies chirping in response. "It's still weird to see them respond to you so quickly, you're almost like their mother," Tuffnut responded, a little too suspicious about her abilities. Taking care of the little ones was part of the job as their overall caretaker.
From the corner of her eye, she could see Eret and Ruffnut helping out as well. Eira felt a little happy to see Ruffnut with a smile on her face, especially looking at Eret. She knew that women like Ruffnut were attracted by the muscular men and those who were extremely self-confident. After feeding the tiny babies, she heard a small roar from nearby, a familiar one by now. "Nightshade is looking for you, she misses her rider," Tuffnut smirked, and Eira couldn't help but laugh a little. Ever since Drago took over her body, it took a long time to reconnect with Nightshade, especially since they both had gone through so much.
Walking outside, she saw her old friend, roaring for her attention. "I know, I know, relax girl, I'm still busy." The Night Fury poked her rider's chest with her nose, awaiting the order to ride out to the horizon. "No, we can't do this again, I got in trouble last time."
A small whine came from the dragon and Eira sighed, "Ok, here's the deal. Help me with the older dragons and then we can go for a ride." Nightshade jumped up and down, seemingly agreeing with the deal. She quickly turned to the small dragon nursery, "You guys able to handle the little ones?" Ruffnut groaned, "Are you leaving us to clean these little brats?"
Eira shrugged, "Try having an impatient dragon, she won't wait for anything so, I'm forced to sort of do what she says." Eret gave a small scowl, and muttered under his breath while looking at Ruffnut, "I can relate to that." Eira started getting on Nightshade, when Tuffnut stopped her, "We'll finish up here, you go ahead and take Nightshade for a spin, we'll cover for you."
