II:Pumpkins on Trucks. A Poem

Thunk thunk they went, up the winding road,
Right by the Pond of Toads,
Up that hill and down the next, swaying the crab grass as it passed,
The river of souls trickled down the smoothened stones,
Through the forest road, the owls of the night watching , waiting for a foolish mouse to step on the Nole.

THUNK thunk they went, on the flatbed truck the rolled into each other on each bump in the path.
These are the Pumpkins.
About to be murdered for Dinner
