This is a story I wrote for my English class. It's only one part but I liked so I thought that I'd post it on Wattpad. ENJOY!
Stay Adventurous
~Kyran
Gazing onto the worn down train station, I'm filled with a wave of adrenaline. My hand dives into my sweater's pocket, looking for my train ticket. I start to frantically search through my bag for my train ticket which seems to have vanished. I've almost given up when I shoved my hands into my pocket which brush a piece of paper. I breathe a sigh of relief as I pull it out. Found it. I slip my earbuds into my ears as I keep walking. Then I'm startled out of my daze as I'm knocked to the ground. As usual, I was lost in my own fictitious universe. "I'm so sorry, are you alright?" A hand reaches down and gently pulls me up. I gaze up into a pair of blue eyes, so dark that they're almost black. "I'm always walking into things and daydreaming. He said, "My name is Luke." "I'm Bailey and I'm also very prone to daydreaming." I laughed. "I should get to my train before it leaves without me." But he's already walking away as I pick up my bag. "See you around Bailey!" He called. See you around? Bailey pondered. What does that mean? I pushed the suspicions to the back of my head and I carried on towards the train's boarding area.
I plop down onto the single train bench and gently shove my adventuring backpack under my seat. I'm just starting to doze off as a familiar male British voice calls through my daze. It says " I feel that we've met before." I slowly open my eyes to see two things. First is that the train has started to move and lastly that Luke is now sitting next to me on the train's bench. "I do believe we have." I said, " Have you ever been on such a long train ride?" He inquired "I've taken this route before but it seems longer because I've been travelling through Europe. I've also been walking for the last few days and really need some sleep." I yawned. "Oh... I guess I can't stop you then." He chuckled.
Luke began to yawn as he woke up to the sun peaking itself through the window to say hello. Bailey's head somehow ended up resting on his shoulder. "I really like her,"Luke thought "and it's a shame that I have to kill her."
Bailey wakes to water drops fall onto her forehead."I'm not on the train anymore and I can't move."Bailey thought "I'm tied to a chair in a giant glass tank and across from me is Luke, restrained, gagged, and... sleeping?" I start pounding on the glass which wakes him up. His startled eyes dart around until they land on me. His eyes widen as he easily wrestles the gag off his mouth. "Whats going on here? How did I get off the train? WHO ARE YOU?!" I yelled at Luke. "Perhaps I can explain that." A heavily accented voice announces from the doorway. Luke and I turn our heads to see an angry Russian man and two masked figures walking into the room. "Maverik, how did you even find me?" Luke asked"You got sloppy Luke. After I last saw you, I had someone follow you here." Maverik sneered while pacing between Luke and I.. "Can someone please tell me whats going on?"I asked. "Meet Agent Luke Warm, an undercover British agent. He was planning to kill you." Maverik said. "He black mailed me to do it!" Luke interjected. "It was either kill you, an innocent civilian, or my family dies." "But instead," Maverik continues, turning towards Luke" He tried to protect both you and his family. So now you'll both die."Then the tank begins to rapidly fill with water. When the water is up to my neck, Luke breaks free from his ropes and dashes to my tank and starts to try and break the fibreglass tank. Soon he gives up as the water is just over my head and the last thing I see is Luke's face. He begins to mouth " I'm sorry Bailey. I failed. I love you" He puts his hand up to mine on the glass. And everything goes black...
