a few hours later, the two boys found themselves slouched into phil's sofa, their stomachs full of pizza and their eyelids drooping as they watched american horror story.

phil was zoned out staring at the tv, not registering what was happening on tv. he snapped out of his daze and turned to see dan curled up into a ball, clutching a galaxy pillow to his chest. soft snores left his parted lips, and phil smiled contentedly.

he hesitantly got up and picked up dan's small body, carrying him to his bedroom. he used his leg to push back the duvet on dan's bed, before placing dan onto the soft mattress and cloaking his body with the duvet. phil smiled faintly and admired the view before him. dan's curling hair splayed about the pillow, his thick eyelashes that lay on his rosy cheeks. phil shook his head fondly and walked into his own room, climbing into his cold bed and falling asleep almost instantly.

phil rose early in the morning to shower, and changed into a pale yellow jumper and blue jeans. he did his makeup carefully, and swept some matte yellow shadow onto his eyelids which complimented his blue eyes beautifully.

 he walked into his kitchen to make himself some cereal, only to find dan standing at the hob, cooking some eggs and bacon. he was dressed already too, wearing a burgundy t-shirt tucked into black jeans. his hair was still curly and resting on his pale forehead. 

"good morning, danny," phil said cheerfully. 

"morning," dan mumbled, smiling. "breakfast is almost done, would you mind setting the table?"

"'course," phil replied, bringing everything to the table and making coffee for both of them. they both sat down to eat and phil hummed in appreciation.

"you didn't have to do this, dan," phil said, and dan shook his head. "it's nothing, honestly. if anything i did have to, to say thank you for letting me live with you."

phil beamed at dan, and he smiled back, the happiness evident in their eyes.
