it was 2:45am and phil was sprawled on his bed, watching whatever youtube video he could find. it went from makeup tutorials, to music videos, to videos of turtles fighting over a piece of lettuce. phil was so tired but he couldn't sleep.

he had just finished watching louise's newest video when a new video was suggested by a channel called danisnotonfire. phil's eyes lit up and he clicked on the video faster than the speed of light. it was dan, in his room, talking about his favourite lipsticks. phil's smile had grown and stretched across his whole face as he watched dan giggle and joke about on camera.

when the video finished, all was quiet and phil could slightly hear dan producing soft snores in the next room. phil smiled and sighed contentedly, and he shut his laptop and easily drifted into sleep.

when phil woke up, he went and turned on an episode of food wars and lazily watched the screen, still drowsy after not getting much sleep. he almost didn't notice dan sitting on the armchair in front of him.

"morning," dan mumbled sleepily, his sweater paws covering his mouth as he smiled. phil almost burst into song, because dan looked so beautiful in the morning light.

"good morning," phil managed to compose himself. "i saw your video. it was so good! we should do a  collab," he said, grinning.

dan blushed - again, making phil's smile wider - and nodded. "thank you, we could record that today. we could do a blindfolded makeup video?" he suggested

phil smiled again, "that would be great!"

they agreed to be ready after lunch, and they both returned to the anime, blatantly glancing at each other and smiling.
