It all began when you put me in a trance
Since then I can't stop, in your face I still glance
All I can do is stare, hoping for romance
But deep down I know, I do not stand a chance
When our eyes meet, quickly I avert my gaze
but left in thought is the image of your face
And all too soon, you'd left me without a trace
Though never been were we, my love won't efface
Love, though I have witnessed, remained fathomless
Still I'm oblivious, much am I conceitless
Love, my only protection from the darkness,
In my heart it shall remain an abstruseness
