Small Light

Here in paper shall I weave forth my tale.

Born from my memories both strong and frail.

Memories protrude from an empty rift.

Heart made strong, had stopped wandering adrift.

One fine day whereas one might not expect.

Fates of us two began to intersect.

We've met and I saw you unlike before,

You're a bird with new wings, able to soar.

I like how your eyes gleam in innocence

showing purity of greatest essence.

Your smile which I enjoy in its transience,

is a fleeting fair moon's inconsistence.

Each time I see those eyes so magnifique

I see the love that I admire and seek.

My love, don't leave me! I'll cease to exist

Without you girl, I am lost in abyss.

Sweet girl I know, now great is your despair

Wrong it is if now, love I would declare.

But dear, let it not make my love fall weak.

Each day I see you, it grows past the peak.

I will adore you, and your whole being

Like a goddess, wholly and undying

Our shadows are one, we suffered same past

I will hold firm, small light passing by us.
