I

Sometimes all an entrapped heart can do is wish

And the darker the truth, the more dreamy its wish

That's why I might be mistaken as crazy

When someone asks me what dreams my eyes see

II

I do not want to travel back to the past

Yet I wish I had met her so much sooner

More than the fact that the present does not last,

I just want to love her sooner and longer

III

I wish I am able to wipe memories

It's for when I love someone who can't love me

I know feelings can't be bound by memories

If I say I love her, may she forget me

IV

I wish I could hear a lie escape her lips

A lie that she is someone who can love me

Although, I'll know the ruse building in her lips

Let me be selfish, just once, feel what can't be
