Chapter Eleven – The Day After - ** Warning Contains Mature Content**

Opening my eyes slowly the next morning, it didn’t take me long to realise I was on my own. Turning over I winced slightly at the dull ache between my thighs, desire curled within me, remembering that Jayden had woken me twice more during the night. Smiling I hugged Jayden’s pillow to me inhaling our combined scent, knowing that it would be unique to us and would let any wolf know who our mate was.

I smiled when my gaze fell upon the bed side table; a folded note lay on top with my favourite flower, a lily lying beside it. Gently picking the flower up I inhaled its scent, my smile getting wider as I thought of my mate. Unfolding the note I read what he had written,

My beautiful mate,

As you can tell by reading this note I am not there to gaze into you sleepy green eyes as you awaken.

I did not want to leave you as you slumbered so sweetly and I did not have the heart to wake you. I must however continue with my training if I am to take over from dad in a few years.

Imagining how sore you are this morning, I stocked the bathroom with various herbs that will help soothe the aches. Take your time, Arya is still with your parents.

I will not be able to see you until tea time.

Getting up I smiled at the soft side I was seeing of my mate, who could believe that he could be so romantic.

Making my way into the bathroom, turning the taps on I let the large circular bathtub fill with hot water. Easily finding the herbs I sprinkled juniper and chamomile into the running water knowing they would soothe my aching body. I groaned in pleasure as I sank up to my neck in the hot water.

Two hours later I made my way downstairs wearing a pale brown skirt with a cream sleeveless top and brown sandals. Walking into the kitchen I found Anna, one of the cooks, standing at the stove stirring a large pot of something that smelled absolutely wonderful.

Walking over to her I sniffed the pot with appreciation, “one of my favourites, homemade lamb and vegetable soup”

“I know” Anna replied smiling “Jayden asked for it, said you would enjoy it”

“I couldn’t possibly enjoy it unless there’s some of your homemade bread to go with it” I said looking round the kitchen hopefully

“There will be, it’s not in the oven yet” Anna laughed

“Good, you can’t have homemade soup without your freshly baked bread, it just wouldn’t be right”

Anna handed me a tray with fresh coffee and chocolate chip cookies on it “will you take that to Alpha Stephen and Jayden please”

“Of course, are they in Stephen’s office?”

“Yes” Anna nodded.

Taking the tray I headed towards Stephens office, smiling when I heard the frustrated voice of my mate through the slightly open door. Using the tray I nudged the door open all the way surveying the scene before me.

Papers strewn everywhere, Jayden’s hair was a mess, as though he had been running his hands through it and Stephen was laughing at the pained look on Jayden’s face. I wasn’t sure what was going on so I stayed silent, watching them both.

“When my teachers told me that I would need to use maths in day to day life, I didn’t think this shit was what they were talking about!” I couldn’t help it I laughed.

“Not you too” Jayden groaned “dad’s already making fun of me, I don’t need you to as well” he continued sulkily as he walked over to me. Taking the tray out of my hands he placed it on the desk before turning and pulling me to him.

“Jayden” I whispered shyly “we’re not alone”

“I know” he smirked as he kissed my lips. “Dad, can I have a break?” he asked never taking his eyes off mine.

Stephen’s reply was lost in the noise of Jayden’s movement as he pulled me out the door and rushed me up the stairs.

Dragging me into the bedroom, he slammed the door shut behind us. Pressing me against the door he slammed his lips onto mine. Returning the kiss with a force of my own had him growling in pleasure.

Running his hands down my body had me moaning. Tearing his mouth from mine as his lips made their way down my neck to suckle at his mark. I lifted his shirt making him groan when I ran my hands along his hot, muscled back.

I felt his hands tugging and pulling at the hem of my skirt, lifting it up so it was around my waist. Running his hands along the waist band of my panties had me moaning loudly, I growled in pleasure when I felt them being ripped from me, I wrapped my legs around his hips, leaving very little space between us.

His fingers felt hot against my skin as he skimmed them gently over my swollen mound, moving my hips I silently begged him to move them lower, to rub his talented fingers at my core.

I bucked hard when I felt his fingers touch my clit, “faster” I sighed out as his fingers began to rub, flicking his fingers against my clit at a faster pace than before. I almost screamed when he suddenly thrust two fingers into my body, his masculine chuckle vibrating against my neck made my core dampen even more and within seconds I felt my body tense before I was sent flying over the edge.

As I was drifting back to reality, I felt Jayden place himself at my entrance, slamming himself all the way to the hilt, I screamed in pleasure as I was sent over the peak once again.

*2 hours later*

I woke up slowly but unlike this morning I was not alone, Jayden lay beside me. Lifting my head I looked at the clock, putting my head back on Jayden’s chest “I’ve missed Anna’s soup” I groaned

“It’s not the end of the world” Jayden chuckled

“Not the end of the world!” I said in disbelief looking down at him, “Anna’s soup is amazing, it’s better than chocolate!”

“Really? I must try some of this soup if it’s that good” he said as he played with a lock of my hair.

“It is” I smiled at him

“Maybe we can take some with us next week”

“Next week?” I frowned “Why? What’s happening next week?” I asked

“We go up to the cabin, for your first heat” he replied, I couldn’t believe I forgot.

The cabin is one of several owned by the Pack as place for mates to go when they wanted some privacy. Each of the cabins are soundproofed and were fully furnished. The cupboards were stocked with simple food, and they each have their own generator.

“Mum and Dad are going to look after Arya for us” he continued “especially as we don’t know how long your heat will last” As an Alpha’s mate my heat can last anywhere from two to seven days, much longer than the average she-wolf’s.

Kissing my cheek Jayden got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom “where are you going” I asked

“I asked for dinner to be served later, so if you don’t move now you will completely miss the ‘better than chocolate’ soup” he said

Getting up I rushed past him making him laugh when I slammed the bathroom door shut “in that case I get the bathroom first” I yelled through the door.
