Chapter Thirteen - Heat

Chapter 13 – Heat - **Warning Contains Mature Content **

The remainder of the week passed quickly, the days going by in a blur of activity as we sorted everything out ready for our trip to the cabin. We would be going on the Friday, two days before the full moon and staying for two weeks.

Finally the day had arrived and as we made our way to the cabin, which is a twenty minute drive from the Pack house. When we got there the white stars could be clearly seen flickering against a midnight blue sky. We emptied the car; Jayden took our cases to the bedroom as I took the perishable food into the kitchen and began putting it away.

“What’s wrong?” Jayden’s husky voice made me shiver as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.

“What makes you think anything’s wrong?” I asked

“Raven” he stated simply. I turned sharply, my emerald eyes searching his golden ones. “You’re my mate of course I know about Raven” he continued pressing a soft kiss to the top of my head. I sighed and laid my head on his chest, feeling comforted by the warmth that Jayden was giving me.

“What’s wrong?” he repeated

“What if I can’t conceive?” I whispered, knowing his sensitive hearing would pick up the words. Since werewolves lived around a thousand years, it was difficult for the females to conceive and even when they did there was no guarantee that they carried the pup to term. Helping both my mum and dad with their work I had seen a lot of distraught couples who had lost pups or who were having trouble conceiving.

“There’s always next time” he whispered back

“What if I never conceive?”

“If for some reason we can’t have pups then we already have Arya. I will train her to be Alpha.” he reassured me making me smile. “Come on let’s get to bed” he said gently tugging me towards the stairs, leading me towards the largest of the cabin’s two rooms.

I frowned upon realising I was on my own the following morning, a frown that quickly turned into a smile as the scent of bacon frying had me diving out of bed and running down the stairs.

“You’re brave” I said as I stood beside my mate

“What? Why?” he said trying to concentrate on cooking

“Frying food without a shirt on, you’ll burn yourself”

“Well I know someone who’ll kiss my burns better” he grinned at me

“That I will” I huskily replied stretching up on the tip of my toes to give him a kiss.

After a large breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, sausages and toast, werewolves have incredibly large appetites; we got ourselves ready and went swimming in the lake that was a ten minute walk from the cabins.

Placing the picnic hamper we had brought with us, along with towels and footwear. Turning to Jayden and smirking “last one in is a scaredy pup!” I yelled before running towards the lake. I grinned to myself as I heard his thundering footsteps behind me I squeaked as a pair of strong arms scooped me up and ran straight into the luke warm water. I gasped in shock as Jayden let me go and I was submerged in water.

I coughed as I broke the surface of the water, Jayden was a meter in front of me grinning, I glared at him, pretending to be mad, as I made my way slowly towards him.

“Kiaya?” he asked sounding worried, I remained silent, as soon as I reached him I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulled him towards me, then quickly moved and Jayden went head first into the water. I swam away laughing as I watched him gasp for breath.

We strolled back to the cabin just as darkness was falling today had been an exhausting one

I had difficulty going to sleep, my stomach was tense and I felt nauseous. I had only just managed to keep dinner down.

It was too hot! Throwing the covers off I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen. Getting some ice cubes out the freezer I moaned in relief as I placed the cold cubes at the base of my throat, shivering when I feel the melting water drip between my breasts.

“Are you okay?” Jayden’s voice coming from the doorway startled me into dropping the ice cube I was holding

“Yeah” I replied “Too hot, I can’t settle”

“Come on, I’ll run you a cool bath” he said stretching his hand out towards my

“Thanks” I smiled in gratitude as I took his hand and followed him upstairs.

I found it a lot easier to sleep after the bath, Jayden had folded the covers off the bed and I snuggled up beside him, glad to have such a wonderful mate.

I woke up a few hours later to a searing heat curling in my abdomen, I cried out at the pain I was feeling and was soon panting for breath.

My core dampened and I was extremely aroused, scissoring my legs together I sobbed in an attempt to find some kind of relief.

“Kiaya!” Jayden shouted as he rushed to my side, “I’m hear baby”

“Please” I begged him “make it go away”

It didn’t take him long to get undressed, the problems came when he tried to get me out of mine. The coiling heat and searing pain making me squirm. Jayden shocked me by ripping the clothes straight of my body, causing my core dampen even more.

The feeling of my naked skin against the bedcovers had me squirming in arousal, making it difficult for Jayden to separate my legs.

“Kiaya, I..I don’t think I can be gentle” he said as he settled between my thighs

“Then don’t” I moaned as I rubbed my dripping mound against his swollen member

I felt the tip of his member at my entrance, “hurry” I groaned trying to force him in further, slamming himself inside of me I growled in pleasure and dragged my nails down his bare back as he groaned into my neck.

Wrapping my legs around his waist I didn’t leave much room as he withdrew and slammed himself inside over and over, my growls soon turned to a scream as I rapidly approached my climax. The moment Jayden released himself inside of me the relief was almost instant.

Jayden slowly withdrew and lay beside me panting heavily; he groaned and got up going into the ensuite bathroom, coming back with a wet flannel. He hadn’t even made it to me before the heat was back, this time worse than before, Jayden” I groaned” he dropped the flannel and hurried over to me, I licked my lips as I watched his member harden, knowing I would soon feel it inside of me.

For the next six days Jayden brought me to climax over and over again, the only relief I found throughout the searing pain was when Jayden came inside of me, his liquid coating my insides made the heat cool, but never for long.

I screamed in pleasure, my core clenching around Jayden’s member as he jerked behind me, groaning as he reached his own peak. We collapsed on the bed together as the heat and tension ebbed away. Sighing in relief it wasn’t long before we fell into an exhausted sleep.

As quickly as my heat had started it was now over.
