Ch. 12

Today, my family and I were going to the beach in Waikiki. Thanksgiving at my uncle's house is weird and untraditional. All the adults stay in the house above, and the younger ones stay in the house below (it's my brother's house but he built the basement into a house). The way my uncle celebrates Thanksgiving is, we go to the beach and when my dad's widowed sister comes then we celebrate it. I texted Yongguk a picture of myself in my bikini. The type of bikini was the high waisted with a bra type top, it was all black. He quickly texted back with a heart and a wink face. I'm starting to feel more comfortable around him and it's amazing. 

The way we gathered into the van was my aunt and uncle up front, my cousins Riley and Dede behind them in their booster seats, my parents behind them, then my sister and I behind them. I placed my headphones in my ear and started playing Yongguk's song called "I Remember", his voice was amazing and hot. I texted Yongguk that I was heading to Waikiki beach and hoped he was having fun. He said the same to me, I smiled.

I finally confessed to my manager of why I picked Hawaii, he thought it was cute but I should watch out just in case her family didn't like me. By what she told me, her parents rule is "If you don't hurt her, then you're okay." so I've been on my best behavior. Right now we're were at Waikiki beach waiting to spot her. I admired this nicely painted 15-passenger van pulling up. The paint job was on point, it was the beach with the night sky glowing from the stars. I noticed a young girl getting out of the van, I looked a little closer and realized it was Avery. I started hitting Himchan in the arm who then smacked me. I looked at him and pointed. I noticed Zelo's mouth hung open.

"So, that's her. Wow, she looks totally different from when we saw her at the cafe." Zelo said smiling.

"Boy, you got a cutie." our manager said laughing a little.

"What are you going to do man?" Daehyun asked.

"Text her that she looks beautiful. I mean she did send a picture already so... why not add to it?" I said laughing.

"Guys, I'm about to scare her so if you see me flying and not moving afterwards. Call the ambulance." I said taking my shirt off.

"Dude, what do you mean?" Zelo asked.

"She's a red belt in martial arts." I said as I watched Jongup fall onto the sand, then Zelo laughed.

"Be back if I'm alive still." I said walking away.

"Are we sure he'll come back alive? After he said that, I'm afraid she'll hurt him even if she's tiny." I said.

"Right? Let's hope for the best." Himchan said as we averted our attention towards the girl.
