Ch. 24

[quick a/n: we're gonna speed it up slightly, starting with Valentine's Day]

[Yongguk]

Valentine's Day 2017. Today is the day I am going to ask Avery out, I really hope she says yes. Luckily and thankfully, she is at school today so I can cook dinner and get everything ready! At the beginning of this month, she moved to a new apartment [pic of layout above] because this summer, Annabelle is coming back and she's going to need somewhere other than a couch to sleep at [the room with red-n-white carpet by the bed]. I told Avery to start music again, she loves it by what Annabelle said. So, what B.A.P and myself did was turn one of the rooms into a music room [the room with two beds].

I texted Avery and asked when she'd be home. She replied with, OMW now. I ordered a dozen red roses. I bought her some chocolate, a bracelet, and a necklace that had matching earrings. I bought red wine to go with our dinner which was honey glazed chicken, steamed broccoli and wild rice. Yes, very American. Right as I sat the last wine glass down, I heard the front door opening. I smiled to myself, I couldn't wait to ask her out.

I unlocked my door and walked into my apartment that smelled amazing. I placed my bag and coat in the closet then walked through the kitchen to the dining room where I saw Yongguk standing there smiling. My heart melted at the sight. He walked up to me and grabbed my hands. 

"Welcome home beautiful." he said smiling, heart fluttering.

"Thank you, I see you made dinner." I said smiling and hugging him.

"Come, let's eat." he said.

I sat in the chair across from where he would be sitting. I heard slow piano music and smiled, then I saw him bring our plates. 

We ate in silence until he cleared his throat.

"Avery?" he said.

"Yes, Yongguk." I said.

"I have an important question to ask." he said making my heart stop.

"Wh-what is it Yongguk?" I asked, a little afraid.

He got up from his chair and walked over to beside me, he grabbed my hand and I looked at him. He smiled then proceeded.

"Avery Kylie-Iris Smith, will you do the honors of becoming my girlfriend?" he asked, did this just happen, I knew it would so I smiled.

"Yes, Bang Yongguk, I'd gladly accept being your girlfriend!" I said as he got up and hugged. 

I watched him walk up stairs, then come back down a few moments later with two small boxes. I was a little confused, honestly. He sat one on the table and opened the other, revealing a bracelet. He grabbed my hand and placed the bracelet on my wrist. Then, he grabbed the other box, opening it to reveal a pair of earrings and a necklace. I turned around and held my hair up so he can place the necklace on me. I smiled to myself, turned and hugged him again. It finally came true.
