James is halfway up the rope when Ace finally lands on the ground and walks over to me. "We're we in some kind of race I didn't know about?" He asks amusedly.
I shake my head and stick out my tongue. "Can a girl never do anything to push herself? Does it always have to be for the attention of a guy?"
Ace holds up his hands and moves away from me, allowing me better access to the rope he was just climbing. I climb up as fast as I did last time but decide to take my time climbing down rather than going zip line style and drawing attention again. Besides, this was builds up my arm muscles too.
Gym ends and we all get excused to go change. The bell rings wile I'm in the locker room and I need to rush to pull on my pants in the dirty bathroom.
I throw my backpack over my shoulder and head toward lunch. Today it's a taco bar day, and I am most definitely not complaining.
"Hey." Ace greets, pushing off of the wall outside the girls locker room.
I roll my eyes. Why do the guys I don't want to be around not seem to get the message? Lost little puppies follow me around everywhere.
"Hey Luna." Comes Algor's voice from the other side of me.
I throw my hands up in the air and yell out. "Their everywhere!" Before running away down the hall like the lunatic that I am. I run all the way to the cafeteria and collapse into my seat.
I look around the abnormally loud room and back at Blue. "What's going on?"
Blue leans forward. "The rumor mill it turning on Ace. That he's back. Why he's back. Where he was. All that juicy stuff."
"Why don't you just ask him?" Isn't that the most obvious thing to do? You'd get your answers and you wouldn't even have to do much work.
Blue gives me a look yelling 'bitch really?' Before her eyes go to the entrance of the cafeteria. The room suddenly gets so much quieter and I can't help it, I look over and see Ace and Algor standing in the doorway. Of course their friends, both my stalkers.
I turn around again and attack my carrot. Something is weird though, Blue isn't talking. I look up at her and see she's looking behind me. I roll my eyes and stuff another carrot into my mouth. "Just sit down, I know you're going to, so let's just skip the creepy part where you silently stand behind me." I say, not even bothering to turn around.
Ace sits next to me and Algor next to Blue. I glance over at them then pick up my hard shell taco, taking a giant bite out of it. And like the lady I am, the taco breaks all over the place and I end up just scooping it up with my hands and shoving it into my mouth.
All three of them are now looking at me like their trying to hold back laughter. "What? Never seen a female pig before?" I ask before stuffing the last bite of taco into my mouth.
They snap out of it and start eating their own food. I get up and throw away my tray, heading toward the bathroom, alone might I add (I don't even know why girls go to the bathroom in groups). I wash my hands and blow dry them, getting the taste and smell of taco meat off my hands.
When I get out of the bathroom I can see Ace, Algor and Blue talking between themselves. As I approach they stop their conversation and all turn to me, pretending that nothing was different.
"What?" I ask suspiciously, squinting my eyes at them.
They all mumble 'nothing' under their breath and go back to eating. I nod my head as if I were buying their story and sit at eh table as Blue finishes her meal, if that's what one taco and a few carrots is called. When she's done I pull her with me out of the cafeteria, hoping to escape Algor and stranger boy.
Being the klutz I am, I run into someone head first. I shout out and fall to the floor. I rub my head and look at who I ran into.
"I'm so sorry." Sequels Charlie something or other. "I didn't see you there."
I sit up and Blue pulls me to my feet as my stalkers round the corner. I look behind me at them and scowl. When I hear a thud I assume that Charlie something or other had dropped one of his books again.
"I'm so sorry." He squeaks again, making me look at him again. He had dropped his camera onto my right foot. And I hadn't felt it, because that was the fake one.
Charlie is freaking out that he had hurt me and I was freaking out that they might find out about my leg.
"Let me take a look." Charlie insists over and over again, trying to look at my leg. I tell him I'm fine but he keeps on insisting. I'm officially freaking out, so much so that I can't even breath anymore. No, wait, I'm having a panic attack.
I lean against one of the lockers wheezing and scream whenever someone gets close to me. That was the last thing I remember.

I open one eye at a time and am greeted by bright light, making me cover my eyes with my arm.
"Hey sweetie. How you feelin'?"
I look over to where the voice came from and look at the school nurse. I sit straight up. "Perfect. Peachy. I can go back to class now." I tell her in a rush.
The nurse smiles. "Well, we have to take your vitals first, make sure that you'r allright."
A check up means touching and checking pulses. I have scars where you measure pulse, that can't happen. "No no, it was really just a panic attack. I forgot to do a really important project that's due today. I'm fine now though."
The nurse chuckles again and shakes her head. "Oh hon, stop being so stubborn. Roll up your sleeve would you?"
I pull my sleeve down over my hands and shake my head. The nurse is now starting to get annoyed. "No ma'am. I want to go to class and I feel fine. Just write me a pass please and I will be out of your gigantic hair." I plead.
The nurse touches her gray hair that is stilled in a way that makes it look gigantic. She holds up her hands. "I just don't want to deal with another brat right now." She scribbles something down on a piece of paper for me. "Just go."
"Thank you." And so I go, breathing a sigh of relief.
