I run to class, it is now in the middle of seventh hour, I had been out for fifth and sixth. When I get through the eh doorway with my Galaxy backpack slung over my shoulder, I'm already out of breath because of my fast running.

The teacher stops talking and turns spot me with a stern look. Everyone else in the room is staring at me too.

"So sorry Mrs. March. I was at the nurses office." I tell her, handing her the little slip of paper.

Mrs. March snatches it out of my hand and grows it into the recycling bin behind her as I take a seat in the back of the classroom. "Why were you there?" She asks, not letting my interruption slide.

"I fainted?" I tell her quietly. A few chuckles go through the eh classroom and most people look at me even more intensely.

"And why did you faint?" Seriously? Does she have to do this? Draw attention to me and stuff. This is the first time I've ever been gone or late, ever. I'm trying to go under the radar woman! And you're not helping in the slightest.

I clear my through the and take out my science notebook. "I had a panic attack."

The teacher nods her head and walks to the middle of the classroom. "Why?"

I throw my hands up. "With all due respect ma'am, if you're looking to humiliate me, just give me detention and don't make me spill my soul to the class." I've had enough of her shit and I'm not in the mood. "I can't help that I fainted or any of that, so if you could maybe just let it slide since this is the first time I've ever been absent, an excused absence might I add." I huff out a deep breath and wait for her to hand me the pink slip that would give me detention for a week.

The teacher nods and marches to the front of the room. "Very well." She mumbles before piking up the remote for the projector and switching to the next slide. "Now there are a few different types of symmetry..."

I take a deep breath of relief and start copying down the notes into my notebook.

"The school nurse called." My mother tells me as I set the table and she stirs the pot of spaghetti. "You refused a check up. I'm sorry you had to be so forceful. Are you all right?"

I smile at her reassuringly and nod my head. "Yea I'm fine, don't worry mom."

"If you say so sweetie." Mom drains the pasta and puts it back into the big pot. "Could you get the hot pads please?"

I open the drawer in the kitchen and pull out two hotpads, mom sets the spaghetti on one while I place the tomato sauce on the other. "Time to eat." I yell to my dad, who's sitting in the living room watching sports.

We all sit down at the table and have a nice meal together before I have to run off to work.

"I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie wooooorld. Life is plastic, it's fantastic. You can brush my hair, undress me anywheeeere. Imagination, life is my creation." I sing at the top of my lungs, dancing around my room.

Blue is sitting on my bed, watching me move around the room the next day. The club was closed today and so I had the day off, yay me.

Blue was also pretty happy to find out that I could hang out with her today. So she came over to my house and I put my phone into my speaker and blasted Spotify songs. "What is this song?" Blue asks, covering her ears with her ands and shaking her wear while she laughs.

I freeze in my tracks and slowly spin around to face her, a blank look on my face. "You don't know this song?" I deadpan.

She shakes her head. My mouth drops open and I shake her shoulders as I yell at her. "Blue! You lovely woman! This is one of the classics, everyone knows it. It's a horrid song, you have to know it!"

I go over to the speaker again and press restart, intending on burning the memory of this song into her brained so that she would be as scarred for life as the rest of us.

Blue motions for me to turn off the music as she digs her phone out of her purse. I click the off button and turn to face Blue as she answers her phone that had been ringing before.

"Hello?....yea......oh cool, yea.....we'll be there, thanks." She hangs up he phone and turns to me exitedly, bouncing on the bed with a huge grin plastered over her face. "We're going somewhere." She announces, pulling me behind her as she descends the staircase.

She shoves my red converse as me and claps her hands excitedly as she slips on her high heels, making her even taller.

"Where are we going?" I ask, a little scared of what my fate holds.

Blue shakes her head with a wicked grin. "It's a surprise." With that she bolts out the door, leaving it open for me to follow. "Mom, I'm going out." I yell through the house as I walk to the door.

"Have fun." She screams back before silence envelopes the house again.

I drive for about fifteen minutes with Blue giving me directions from the passenger seat, still smiling like a maniac. I'm starting to fear for my life, literally. Well, almost literally.

I park in a parking lot in front of a large building that has 'Sool' written on it in brightly shinning black, red, green and purple letters. My curiosity overtakes me and I precariously follow Blue as she heads toward the building.

The automatic doors open as they since our movement. My eyes wander around the large space before they land on two very familiar faces.
