He was staring at me again. I didn't mind it as much as I used to. I don't think he even realizes that he's doing it.

Right now, I was sitting in a room surrounded around people who had way more problems than I did. I mean so what if I have a tendency to start fights, I mean at least it isn't as bad as what the rest of these people do.

"My names Hanni and I'm here because I have a problem with keeping my anger in check." I rolled my eyes. Hanni has been going to this same group for a few months now and she always says the same thing. Never has she clarified what "anger problems" she has.

I heard a quiet giggle from across me. I looked up to see the same boy looking at me. He had a slight pink tint to his cheeks and was trying to cover up his smile with his hands.

I could feel the side of my mouth start to curve up into a smile but I quickly caught myself and returned back to my blank face. Mrs.Susan sighed. "Yes, Hanni we know already. Why don't we hear something from someone else this time?"

Her eyes traveled around to look at everyone in the room. Some were avoiding eye contact, some looked completely, at me? I'm just silently observing. Her eyes finally landed on me. "Ah Nakamoto, why don't you go?" I glared at her.

"What if I don't want to?" She stared at me. "You've been going here for a year, and you've never said anything." I shrugged my shoulders. She sighed. "Anyways what about you Sicheng?" I glanced back at the boy in front of me.

He looked a bit startled. I didn't know Sicheng was his name... "Well, my name is Sicheng and I'm here because I hurt people." My eyes zeroed in on him. He didn't seem like someone who could even hurt a fly. He noticed me staring and looked back. I could tell that he was a bit nervous and scared but he tried to hide it by acting calm.

Ms.Susan frowned. "Do you physically hurt them or mentally?" I to was a bit curious as I stared at the pale boy in front of me. His hair was parted halfway to the side and the other side flat down. He had a small frown on his face. I don't think anyone noticed but me.

I was tempted to ask why. "Um, I would have to say mentally." He looked almost crestfallen. As if memories were coming back to him and crowding his mind with bad thoughts.

"How do you hurt people mentally?" I glared. Sicheng looked like he wanted to crawl inside of a hole. Everybody was looking at him now, expectantly.

I could feel a pang in my heart just by seeing how bothered he looked. I couldn't take it anymore. "Could you not. Obviously, he doesn't want to talk about it so why force him to." She looked shocked, with her mouth hanging open.

Sicheng's eyes widened. He looked as if he wanted to say something. "Class dismissed!" I grabbed my bag and took out my earbuds and phone. Before I could make it out the door I felt a hand on my wrist.

I turned around to see Sicheng. He was looking at the ground. I slowly looked at the hand that was still keeping me in this god-for-saken room. Sicheng seemed to get the hint and he let go.

"Sorry." I didn't say anything as I gently lifted his chin up. "Look at me when you talk to me." He nodded, a small pink tint on his cheeks. "I just wanted to say thank you..." I nodded. "You didn't have to say anything." I stared at him. I didn't need him to thank me.

I would have done it either way.
