Embarrassed, I picked up my notebook that I recently just dropped. Why did I always lose my stuff whenever I saw Harry?

"Excuse me, do you know him?" Mrs. Seales asked.

"No, but I wish I did," Katherine, the district manager said, eyeing him from head to toe. "Damn."

"I do," I quickly said. "Be right back!" I exclaimed and went to Harry.

I grabbed his hand, pulling him to the corner where the others couldn't see you. With a big smile, I gave him a tight hug. "It's been so long," I said into his shoulder.

He pulled out of the hug, meeting his green eyes again. "Way too long."

"Wow," I managed to say. He was standing there in a suit, looking more handsome than ever. "H-how have you been?"

He glanced at the clock on his wrist. "I would love to catch up with you, Taylor. I really do. I just had to see if it was you standing there. Are you free tonight?"

I didn't think through. "Yeah, I am," I blurted out.

"Great," he smiled and handed a business card from his pocket. "I'm in a hurry right now, but call me so we can meet up later. I have missed you so much, Taylor," he said, giving me a peck on the cheek. "Bye!"

"Bye," I said, tucking the business card in my pocket. Going back inside the venue, Katherine was staring cheekily at me.

"Who was that fine piece of ..." She didn't the sentence, but I had already guessed it.

"Um, a friend," I said, hesitating at first.

Katherine raised her brows, crossing her arms and waiting for the real answer.

"Fine, he's my ex," I sighed, throwing my hands up and I saw a smirk growing on her face.

After the showing, Katherine invited me out for lunch before the meeting started again. We decided to make it easy and go to the closest cafe near the office building.

"So have you done anything fun in London yet?" Katherine asked as we sat down with our food.

I shrugged my shoulders. "To be honest, this lunch is probably the most exciting thing I have done today."

"What about the handsome fella with the good hair?" She said with a huge grin on her face. "I mean, damn, he was good looking."

I couldn't help but laugh. Katherine was already one of favourites and I was glad that I was spending the week with her in London.

"I will probably meet up with him later today," I said calmly, even with a weird feeling in my stomach.

"Are we talked about a reunion or what?" She laughed as she playfully nudged my shoulder.

I nervously laughed as I glanced down on my hand, fiddling with my engagement ring.

"Oh shit, I didn't know," Katherine exclaimed, when she saw the ring on my hand. "I'm so embarrassed right now," she nervously chuckled as her cheeks reddened.

"Katherine, it's okay," I giggled at her cute reaction.

"By the way, you can call me Kath. I don't know what my mum was thinking when she gave me a name longer than the Great Wall of China, I mean Katherine Rosemary Walker," she laughed.

"I think it's cute."

After the lunch with Katherine, we went to the next meeting, where we talked about the same things, but more in depth. I felt so happy that this was finally happening. Having my business spread worldwide was my ultimate goal.
