PART 7: WHAT FALLS AFTER WAR

Sky, Seb, James, Jacob, Brooklyn, and Tobias finished off the rest of the warriors. Revenge the only thought running through their mind. As the barged into the main tent they were met with the worst sigh possible. Nothing, nothing at all. No Demor or even a warrior to vent their anger off on. The whole room was empty. Seb leaned onto Sky's shoulder and they held back their tears together. James and Jacob held onto each other's hands like a bro handshake that just would not end. Brooklyn curled up into a circle and weeped. Tobias stook there and stared at the ground. Silence was all that the could take without breaking down.

The sound of a helicopter broke the silence, but one one looked up to meet it. People surrounded them pulled them up, covered their soaking wet clothes in blankets. None of them looked away, there started into the same spot in the distance and cuddled up in the same way. The people were just ghosts that everyone looked through. No one could make up for the people that were lost. The wind only howled worse once the graves were out of sight.

After hours, and days finally Sky spoke up.

"We need someone to smile, or cry, or do something that isn't remember those who have gone." she sighed. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"We at least need someone to punch someone else..." she continued.

"So.. I am going to tell you all something..." she drawled.

"Tobias and Brooklyn are brother/sister. Tobis knew it so he stole someone's powers to get here, and Brooklyn had no clue. In fact she didn't know until I just said it." Sky laughed and everyone froze.

"I know bea-be-because Emma knew and she told me. And the reason that they are separated is because Tobias ran away when he was 5 years old to get away from his parents, he tried to reach his 3 year old sister, but was unable to get to her before he left." she finished.

Brooklyn walked over to Tobias slapped him across the face, hugged him, cried, slapped him again, hugged him again then laughed.

"So are you happy to see me or angry??" Tobias questioned.

"Happy, you dummy." Brooklyn smiled.

"To think about it we have never told each other our last names." Jacob announced and everyone nodded, "It is about time that we do."

"First in memorial... Emma Ison and Maryam Mills." Sky smiled.

"Brooklyn Hawk"

"Tobias Hawk"

"Seb Kingsley"

"James Beau Way"

"Sky Kingsley"

"Jacob Silvers."

"Woah." Sky exclaimed. "You are THE JACOB SILVERS."

"Yeah." Jacob smiled awkwardly.

"That is awesome." she sighed.

"Well you are a Kingsly, everyone knows the Kingsleys"

"Well not in a good way."

"Yeah, well my parents were abusive too."

"Well than Mr.Perfect it seems we have something in common." she smiled leaning towards him.

Right then it was perfect they were not kids on the run from Demor, or kids who had lost their fellows, they were ordinary people going through life.

But unfortunately for them good things never lasted.

~~~~~~~~~
BOOM BANG. THe sounds rang out and Seb walked over to investigate The moment he saw Demor sitting there with a sly smile on his face he should have known to turn back, but he did not.
"What are you doing here." Seb questioned.
"Revenge of course, and why not on that little twin of yours." Demor smiled sickeningly.
"You will never reach her, she is not a little kid."
"Oh yeah I forgot she is older, oh wait, are you? The one who is always in her shadow.."
"Maybe I like it there, and yes I am the older one."
"Do you, do you like it when no ones knows who you are all alone and afraid."
"I am not alone, or afraid."
"Really, I would not say so, but I am not here for you, just hand of you twin Sky, and maybe even the others too and you can move on be free."
"I don't want to be free of my sister or my teammates." Seb inched his head forwards trying out a new trick that he had been practicing."
"You could join me and be free." A little more...
"You could be wanted by others." A bit more, YES.
"I am already wanted, ATTACK." HE commanded and a swarm of birds, bees, and other flying animals converged on Demor.
"Ha" Seb yelled, only to see all the the animals drop to the floor dead.
"Oops, I guess I got a bit of that girl's (Marman I believe) blood after all." Demor smiled.
He reached forward as Sky opened the door with a shout. She ran right to Seb, but Demor waved her away.
"It is not your time yet girl." he smiled as he approached Seb. The rest of the team ran into the room onto to be pushed away.
"It is his time." Demor smiled evilly.
A jet of dark magic flew into Seb and he fell to the ground.
"Should kill you in 5 minutes, very painful 5 minutes, but at least you will get to say goodbye." Demor glared and flew out breaking a window in the process. Sky ran over to Seb.
"Seb?" she questioned.
"Here" he smiled.
"Are you okay.?" she asked.
"No, I feel like my insides are being ripped apart, which they probably are." he attempted to smile instead he feel over coughing.
"We are not going to let you go." Jacob urged, but Seb just smiled.
"I am a dead man already, there is no saving me. Just promise not to get yourself killed with revenge, sis." he announced.
"You didn't say not to get revenge." she questioned.
"I never would have been able to stop you."
"You never could have, and you never will grandpa."
"Oh I know that, but I wish you luck little baby." she smiled at the stupid nicknames they had for eachother.
'You were the best little sis."
"Only cause you were the best big brother." Seb smiled at that, only to fall over because of the pain.
"I hate to ruin this, but my computer says that he is going to be gone soon." Brooklyn sighed.
"Bye James, Jacob, Tobias, Brooklyn, and Sky, it was a honor." he smiled a tear falling onto his shirt.
"Don't leave me Seb." Sky choked.
"Bye, Skyler." the boy announced before his emerald eyes lost their shine, and his body went still. He pushed out his last breath in his twin's arms.
"Bye Sebastian." she cried as she pushed his eyelids down to cover his eyes.
"See you when I die, and everyday in my dreams." she sobbed.
The group had one last hug now 5 instead of 8 then set off to wherever "The Call" calls home. Sky turned one last time to see her brother's grave before her eyes melted away leaving stones in there place. No one from Scrapers cried.
"So your name is Skyler." Jacob questioned, but his voice was only meat by peaceful snoring.
