Chapter 2

Matthias' POV

I was nervous to find out what Amanda was going to tell me. We sat down on the couch and she looked into my eyes.

"It's not you Matt, it's me." she started to say. I instantly knew where she was going from here. "I just feel like we've been growing apart lately," she said.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I've been feeling the same way for a while," I told her honestly.

She let out a sigh of relief. "That's good. I thought you would be mad at me."

I hugged her. "I could never be mad at you. We should still be friends though." I suggested, hoping she would agree. I still liked Amanda, just not the way I used to. I would hate to lose her as a friend.

"Of course we're still friends. But there's just one problem," she said looking nervously at me.

"What is it?" I asked
