Matthias POV

"Joey's got a girlfriend, Joey's got a girlfriend!" I teased, sitting up and pointing at him.

"Shut up! You're being a child." he accused.

"So who is she." I asked, truly curious. I never noticed him hanging out with any girls lately, so I had no idea who it could be.

"It's not like that. This is why I didn't want to talk about it." he said, his voice getting sad as he said the last part.

"No, I promise I'll be serious. Just tell me." I urged. At this point, I was beginning to worry.

"I can't. You wouldn't understand." he said, sitting up and climbing off the bed. He walked over to where his phone flew right before our pillow fight and turned it to look at the screen. He let out a string of curses and I went over to see what was wrong.

"What happened?" I asked. J-Fred turned his phone so I could see what he saw.

I was surprised the see that the glass was completely shattered and the majority of the screen was black, making it impossible to see any words.

I instanly felt guilty, seeing as this was my fault in the first place. "I'm sorry." I told him, hoping my sencerity was heard through my words. "I'll get it replaced, I promise."

"Alright then, what are you doing for the next two and a half hours."

----------

J-Fred and I both got dressed fairly quickly and made our way downstairs. Amanda and Bryan were asleep on the couch while the end credits of 101 Dalmatians played on the TV.

When we got in Joey's car, I sent a text to Bryan letting him know where we were going, just in case he woke up before we got back.

"So," I started, putting my phone back in my pocket. "Are you going to tell me about this mystery girl?"

It was a while before he answered me. "Not if you're going to tease me about it." he finally said.

"You're my brother. I'm supposed to make fun of you about your crushes." I teased in the most innocent voice that I could.

"Then no, I'm not telling." He kept his eyes pointedly on the road.

I let the conversation die there and not long after we arrived at the phone store.

It turned out that "two and a half hours" was no exaggeration. They spent most of that time trying to fix the damage to the old phone before deciding that we needed to replace the entire thing. The last step was to transfer all of his old information to his new phone.

I watched as it went from the factory's manual version to J-Fred's personalized version. A smile stretched across my face when the background changed from a random picture of a waterfall to a picture of the two of us at the pond.

IMPORTANT A/N.
I want to FEATURE some of my readers in a future chapter. THREE LUCKY READERS, three chapters from now to be exact. If you want a chance to be FEATURED, comment whatever name you want me to use (like of your name is Daniel for example and you want me to call you Danny, Comment "Danny"). If you don't want to be freaured, just say "Don't feature me" or something. I'M ONLY CHOOSING THREE PEOPLE. So whoever I see always reading, voting, and commenting will be the LUCKY WINNERS.
