Yoongi sits on the sofa as he waits for Hani, his eyes on his phone as he waits for her to reply. Five months have passed and he and Hani are about the same as they have been. He has been noticing a slight change in her though. She is still easy to set off and temperamental, but not as much as she used to be. Instead of hitting him when he picks on her, she sort of smiles and shakes her head. She has been opening up to him, and he doesn't want the progress to stop there. His parents had come and gone, leaving for another business trip. This time it is for longer, three months instead of one. The conversation he and Hani had just three hours prior to him sitting here runs through his head on repeat.

Flashback

"Yoongi?"

He looks up at Hani in surprise, not expecting the soft tone coming from her right now. He has never seen her so timid and shy. She doesn't look him in the eye, thinking over what she has to say and how she will say it.

"I...I have a favor to ask of you."

He nods his head to show that he is listening, leaning forward in his seat. He is concerned for her, not used to seeing her so conflicted.

"Do you think I could crash at your place for like a month or so?"

He is stunned silent, not sure what to say. It's not that he doesn't want her to stay at his place, he just isn't sure why she would need to. She is usually really independent, sticking to herself and not needing any help. He has never seen her ask for any assistance before. His lack of response crushes her hope, her confidence diminishing.

"I-I-I mean, you don't have to say yes. It's just......I don't wanna be at home right now...."

His eyes widen at her confession, instantly feeling bad that he hadn't answered right away.

"N-no. You can stay."

Flashback end

That's why he isn't surprised when she knocks on the door. He lets her in almost immediately, smiling when she enters. She gives him a tired smile in return, trying not to let him see how incredibly exhausted she is. She is so tired that her legs feel like jelly, her arms and legs shaking slightly. He doesn't notice how hard she is trying just to be able to walk around without wincing in pain. He also doesn't seem to notice the bruise in her wrist in the shape of a hand; or the cut running from her collarbone to her stomach.

"Hey. What's-?"

He gets cut off by loud voices coming from the doorway she just entered from. They both look at the six guys in curiosity, Hani walking over to Yoongi's side as they swarm the two of them.

"Yoongi. We need to talk."

He places his arm around Hani's waist, pulling her protectively against his side. Several pairs of eyes flicker down to look at the skin ship, their eyes holding what looks to be disappointment.

"Fine. But she gets to stay here" he says loudly, his gaze narrowed at his friends. It's as if he's challenging them to disagree with him. If they did, he would be on their case. They are in his house after all. They barged in with no warning, not even bothering to knock before entering either.

"It's about the two of you" Jin says slowly, not wanting to make Yoongi mad again. Hani's eyes widen slightly, the news striking her. She knew that they didn't like her being around him, but she didn't know that they would address the problem directly. She's scared. Scared that he will let her go to be with his friends again. She didn't mean to, but she had slowly opened up to Yoongi. She trusts him now, and she doesn't want to let him go. She doesn't know what these strange feelings are, but she doesn't want to lose the one person at their school she actually talks to.

"What about us?" He asks, his teeth grinding together in frustration. They had already had that talk. He doesn't wanna get mad and yell at them again. Taehyung steps forward this time, a determined look on his face.

"We don't like her. At all. You know what she can do; you've helped her do it. That's the point hyung. She is just manipulating you, just like Claire did. She doesn't really like you. She is changing you into someone you are not. You have been fighting more, drinking more, skipping class more, and disrespecting adults more than you have in your entire life in just the six months you've known Hani. She's bad news, and she's influencing you in a bad way."

Hani would be lying if she said that his words didn't hurt. She sucks in her breath as she lets all the information soak in. It's true that Yoongi had been changing, she had been noticing that too. It wasn't her fault though. She did all those things because that's how she coped with her life, Yoongi did it because he wanted to as well. She had never forced him to drink or punch someone. She had never forced him to skip classes or backtalk teachers with her. She feels Yoongi's arm slide down from around her waist, hanging limply by his side. Jimin steps forward and detaches himself from the group, his eyes holding sadness. He doesn't wanna do this, but it's for the best.

"Hyung....who do you choose? Hani or us?"

All the air seems to get sucked from the room at his words. Yoongi stares at Jimin with wide eyes, his mouth hanging open in shock. Why would they do this to him? Why are they making him choose? On one hand, he and Hani have gotten closer over the months. He can tell her pretty much anything and be absolutely sure that she wouldn't tell a single soul. He has told her some of his biggest secrets, and he hasn't regretted his decision once. She makes him happy, her presence alone enough to make him smile. On the other hand, the boys are his brothers. They grew up together. They have been best friends since primary school, inseparable wherever they go.

He slowly turns his head to Hani, his mind already made up. She knows what's going to happen before he even says anything, her heart feeling as if it is being squeezed by an invisible fist. She doesn't know why it hurts so bad, but she won't let them know that.

"I'm....I'm sorry Hani."

She sighs before stepping away from him, picking up her duffle bag with a slight wince of pain due to her injuries. She rolls her shoulders back and looks him straight in the eye, not showing how much she feels like yelling at the sky in frustration.

"It's ok. Kinda figured you would choose them over me. Bros before hoes, am I right?"

She gives him a tight lipped smile before walking passed all of the guys watching her silently, closing his front door behind her.
