School has been hell.

Hani walks through the hallways the next week like usual, her head held high as the rest of the students cower in fear. They had become accustomed to the new Hani. They don't like how she has gone back to her usual self, fighting people if they so much as glance in her general direction. It is as if she is trying to make up for all of the lost time. The way she acted when she was with Yoongi 24/7 was preferred amongst everyone. She is now harsher, more likely to snap at you and beat you up than ever. Everybody knows that something happened between the pair, but no one is brave enough to ask what.

Yoongi is different as well. He isn't his normal happy and content self. He is usually found sulking in a corner of the library or off to the side of his friends. He only joins in the unimportant conversation if he actually needs to, his banter and small talk more or less nonexistent. He is obviously not himself at the moment, and his friends are beginning to notice that as well. He had been so happy when he and Hani had been seeing each other, even when they were apart. He could have been hanging out with the guys and been as happy as ever, just the thought of seeing Hani later that day making him smile fondly. Now, he keeps to himself in his silence, always looking into space.

Today is a little different though. For the many years these students have known Hani, she has never lost a fight. She could go against a hulking guy that stands two feet above her and walk away with not so much as a scratch. She has always been flawless wherever she goes without the need for makeup. What made today different? Why is she covered in bruises? The students gawk at her silently as she passes them with her head down. Deep purple and blue bruises are on her face and arms, her bottom lip busted open and bright red. She has her usual shirt on, but she is in black jeans instead of a skirt. The worst of her cuts and bruises are on her legs and back, her choosing to cover them with the long pants.

"Dude, what happened to her?" Jimin asks the group in awe. He watches her as she walks in their direction, nearing her seat next to them. They all look at where he is staring, gasping at the sight in front of them. Hani sits down with her back slouched over, laying her head on her arms. Her head turns to the side as she closes her tired eyes, wincing in at how the position puts strain on her healing whip marks. She doesn't care though. She hasn't been sleeping well lately. She will endure this pain in order for an hour or so of actual rest. It is as if all the energy has been drained from her body.

"Do you think she's ok?" Jungkook asks, pity and concern clear on his face. He personally doesn't have a problem with her. He never has. He saw how happy she had made his hyung, and that was good enough for him. He groans in complaint as Jin hits the back of his head, rubbing at the spot as he glares at the older guy.

"Did you see her face an arms? Of course she's not pabo."

He sticks his tongue out immaturely, turning back to look at Hani in concern for the poor girl. She was obviously hurt, which was unusual for her, and he doesn't know what to do to in order to help her out. While this is going on, Yoongi stares at her from his seat. He is all the way on the other side of her, four people down. He is cursing the fact that Jimin, Teahyung, and Namjoon are all in the way of him being next to her. Namjoon had made him switch seats with him after he made his decision, and he regrets it. He misses Hani. Seeing her everyday and not being able to even talk to her was crushing him inside. He has made up his mind; he will talk to her after class. He needs to find out what happened to her.

The bell rings and he packs up his stuff with the rest of his friends. He walks all the way to the door with them, making sure they think that he is right behind them as they make their way to the cafeteria. He stops just short of exiting the room, turning back around to face Hani as she finally stands from her seat.

"What do you want?" She asks tiredly, rubbing at a particularly painful bruise on her left arm. He is at a loss for words, not believing that he is actually getting the chance to talk to her after a week of no contact at all.

"I-I just.....how are.....could w-we.....are you ok?"

She scoffs and smiles sarcastically. She can't believe it. He casts her aside, doesn't talk to her or text her for a week, and then asks her if she is ok out of the blue? She rolls her eyes before crossing her arms, resting on the desk behind her when her back pain becomes almost unbearable.

"I'm just fine thanks.....now if you'll excuse me."

She tries to walk passed him, getting stopped by his outstretched hand.

"Wait. Talk to me."

"Talk to you? You have been ignoring me for a week and now you want to talk to me?"

He can't help but be a little ticked off he is trying to see if he can help her. Why is she being so difficult?

"Chill out. I just want to know if you are ok."

She pushes at his chest, her eyes hard as she glares at him.

"I told you, I am fine!"

He growls in frustration when she tries to push her way past him. He pushes her back, his eyes widening when she stumbles over her feet. She catches herself on the desk behind her, her back biting the hard wood painfully. She cries out as her lashes open up again, the blood soaking the back of her shirt. Yoongi is frozen in panic, not sure what to do. She's bleeding. She's bleeding and it's all his fault. He rushes over to help her stand but she pushes him away.

"I said I was fucking fine! I don't need your help."

She runs out of the room, leaving Yoongi behind. She stumbles through the halls with tears in her eyes from the agonizing pain coming from her bleeding back. Her vision gets blurring the farther she walks, her head spinning in dizzying circles. She's losing too much blood, she can feel it. She whimpers as she bumps into a hard chest, the person reaching out quickly to steady her weak form.

"Woah! You ok there?"

The guy takes a closer look at the girl in front of him, his eyes widening at what he sees. His eyes rack over her familiar body, pausing at the blood on her shirt and her unnaturally pale skin.

"Hani?"
