The last couple of weeks have been incredibly hard for Hani. She was released from the hospital and driven back to her house, her injuries pretty much healed by now. There is still a slight pain in her ribs whenever she moves too quickly, but she is learning to move at a slower pace. As soon as she got out of the car, she went up to her room. Her father was passed out on the sofa when she entered, so she wasted no time packing up the majority of her clothes and the items she would need in order to go about her life. She went to Jiyong's place, the only place she feels safe at the moment. She was lying to herself by thinking that though. What she really wanted to do was go back to Yoongi's house, but she didn't. She was hurt and felt betrayed in a sense, causing her to go to her best friend's place instead. She would never admit it to herself, but she had started to care for Yoongi. She misses everything about him, but was too stubborn to go talk to him and listen to what he has to say. She's hurt that he chose his friends over her. She's hurt that he had ignored her presence for a week. She's hurt that he hadn't visited her in the hospital.
She doesn't know that he had gone to see her almost every day. She doesn't know that he had been the one to leave flowers and chocolates by her bed before leaving every night. He made sure to come at the latest possible time so that he could see her, but she wouldn't see him. She was always asleep when he visited, allowing him to observe her without her getting uncomfortable or yelling at him to leave her alone. He thought she hated him, so he made sure not to alert her of his presence.
Yoongi had completely fallen for the girl. He suspects that he had always liked her. The way she talks, the way she flips her hair, the way her eyes crinkle cutely when she laughs. He is starting to really care for her, and misses her presence every day that she has been gone. It pained him to see her lying in bed with all of those cuts and scratches. It pained him to think that he could have been there to protect her. But he wasn't. That's what pains him the most. He had the chance to help her, but he wasn't there. He let her down, and he will never forgive himself for it.
"Come on Hani! Just one day?"
Hani rolls her eyes at Jiyong as he pouts in front of her, his eyes holding hope and question. He wants her to help him work the bar of the club he works at. She had refused, saying that it was a waste of her time. He didn't give up though, pestering her until she felt as if her head was going to explode.
"Alright fine! Haruman."
He cheers before leaving the guest room, her groaning because she has to get up now. She quickly showers before getting dressed, picking out an outfit that will attract customers but also hides her scars. She chooses a black dress that is tight on her body. It is made out of leather and has a sweat heart neckline. The sleeves are made out of black lace that have a pretty flower pattern on them. She pairs it with some black heels and goes over to do her hair and makeup.
She doesn't have the energy to do something impressive, so she does her usual look. She uses foundation, eyeliner, mascara, a little bit of blush, and red lip stick. She simply straightens her hair and leaves it down and parted to the side before walking out of the room and down the stairs. Jiyong is there to greet her when she gets down to the bottom, wrapping a protective arm around her waist as they head outside. He lives in the not so great part of town, so he doesn't want anyone to try anything when it comes to Hani. They are like bother and sister, him being overly protective of the younger girl.
They get to the club in no time at all, all of the memories she has had there flowing through her mind. She hasn't been there in forever, ever since Yoongi asked her to be friends with benefits with him. She hasn't needed to go back there, content with what she had. This was the place where it had all started. Where she had given in to his sweet temptation. Where he had plucked up the courage to ask her his question, even if it wasn't exactly what he had wanted to ask her at the time. She misses all the fun they had together, but she is here for a reason. She can pine after Yoongi when she gets back, right now she needs to help Jiyong at the bar.
She pins something to her dress that says bartender before leaning against the bar on her arms as she waits for people. Many people glance at her curiously as they pass, stopping to check her out. She isn't what you would normally see behind the bar, her provocative dress, beauty, and seductive smirk catching everyone's attention. The first person comes over to her side, leaving Jiyong in a state of jealousy. He doesn't like how he is ignored whenever Hani is around. Yeah, she's attractive, but he was there too.
"Hey. Aren't you a little young to be working at a club?"
She smirks at his words, rolling her eyes before standing straight up again.
"I can be whatever age you want honey" she says with the seductive purr she has acquired over the years. He smirks at her answer, ordering a drink and staying to watch her work while he drinks it.
"Can I have a water and a coke?"
Water and coke? At a club? Whatever. She rolls her eyes and scoffs as she prepares the drinks, mumbling about how she guesses some people can't hold their alcohol. She turns around and places them on the bar before looking up at who ordered the drinks. Her witty comment gets stuck in her throaty as she locks eyes with the one person she has been thinking about for weeks.
"Yoongi."
