*A/N: I would suggest rereading chapter 1 because stupid me left out an important detail that impacts this story greatly!
Also slight trigger warning! I don't think it's that severe but if it is you can past that part*Silk was hopping all over Nick as he walks through the small, crowded hallway of his apartment. His apartment was nice with a light blue wall color with flower vases dotting down all over. Those vases were light purple with a yellow flower.
He hung his jacket up on the small coat hanger that had a million jackets on it near the door, then he kicked off his shoes on the shoe mat. His apartment was small, not a studio apartment though, but definitely unique in size and how they designated space. The main hallway which was at an angle facing right to the kitchen and tv room. While on the left was a small staircase, ascending you to his parents small, but heartwarming room. To the right of him now was his bedroom.
He walked through the hallway. Silk was behind him, with his paws clicking on the floor as they walked together in unison towards the kitchen. His kitchen was small but utilized space to the max. The kitchen had everything you need and there wasn't a single space wasted. His tv room across the way was small but had a big plasma tv with a 3 seater couch for them to all sit on. Not only that but the couch was accompanied by a bean bag for when Nick plays games. But Nick does consider himself a PC Gamer.
He entered the kitchen with his hand gliding against the wall and slowly walking, might make some people think he had a bigger ego he could carry as he opened the fridge.
He sighed at the bare selection of food. There was food, but you have to prep it, season it, then cook it and Nick was, honestly, too lazy for that. He just decided to have some bread instead.
He quickly grabbed the butter from the side shelf on the fridge and closed the fridge when he saw his mom standing there, behind the door. He let out a,
"Holy fu-" was all he could get out before his mom shut him up.
His mom was always the silent walker, never could here her at all...unless she had no footsteps.
She stood at a whopping 5 feet and 2 inches with a slim body showing how much she likes to exercise. She's not over the top but she does hit the gym everyday in the apartment building. She wore a slim purple shirt that gripped to her body and was in some blue color capris to go along with it. Her hair was long and perfectly straight with a jet black color. She was South Korean and Nick got most of his features from her he always said. But for some reason he got his curly hair from his dad.
Nick mumbled under his breath as his mom stood there with her arms crossed around her check, and tapping her foot like what Nick does.
Damn that's where I get it from
Thought Nick as he raised his left eyebrow to his mom, as if it could speak and say,
What did I do now?
Nick knew his mom couldn't keep a straight face as his mom knew he couldn't keep a straight face as they both continued to stare at each other.
With a slight chuckle that escaped Nicks mouth they both broke out laughing. After they both wiped the tears away she said,
"You aren't in trouble, but you do have to take your pills young man!" She exclaimed as if this was the most shocking piece of evidence in a trial.
"Okay mom, let me get something to eat," he sighed and cussed under his breath.
"Good! You need some meat on your bones!" She exclaimed as she watched me carefully, squinting her eyes as she watched me put the bread in the toast.
