The 1:00 am confession !

The next day passed in just a blink, getting me more frightened and worried about what would happen when Neil would be around?
It was 12 in the afternoon and I expected him anytime now.
Ryan made sure he wasn't around me during that time. Earlier that morning we did go to the gym and while coming back we spoke about how things would go and about him coming along.
He said, " so you guys are leaving by the 8:00pm flight to Hyderabad right ?
I just nodded,  for the thought of me seeing Neil's face again made me feel worse.
He continued, "I've booked my ticket on the same flight."
"What!!" I exclaimed with a smile run across my face and I just wanted to hug him tight, for it was one of the best decisions he could've taken, but also a hint of worry could be seen on my face. And that's the thing he noticed.
"Don't worry, I've planned everything and he won't even know that we know each other." He said .
"That's fine and thank you, but, once we reach there where will you stay." I asked.
*How guilty I felt that I was going home and could not even invite him, he has been helping me since the very first time I met him*
"Naina, stop worrying about me. You already have so much to think about. Just calm down," he comforted me.
I spoke with a sigh, "I know but still you've done so much for me and I can't even," he stopped me from speaking by keeping his finger on my lips and then held my hand.
I didn't feel shocked or uncomfortable but instead calmed down. The time he held me, it was as though we were strong and there was nothing that could really stop us.
I had said to myself, we can do it together.

It was now 1:00 and Neil hadn't arrived. I just then dialed his number to find out the status.
He didn't pick it up.
I dialed again.
No response.

Now what? I thought to myself, anyway I didnt want him around so I didn't bother.
I instead called up Ryan to tell him about this.
He didn't answer either.
Urghhh! Why?

Just then I heard a knock at my door.
Neil would've been here I thought.
As I opened the door, to my surprise it was Ryan!
I immediately gave him a hug. His muscular body made me feel protected and completely safe. He hugged me back.
You stupid girl, you're falling for him when you're about to get engaged to Neil! My inner voice yelled at me.
I replied saying "I don't want to be with Neil!"
But this was loud.
"You won't have to," whispered Ryan.
I smiled. Maybe blushed.

And there we went, it was our mistake.
We were standing in the doorway, with the door open, hugging each other and Neil just arrived!
"Oh no!" I spat slowly.
Ryan turned around, to find a fair, 5'6" tall, jet black haired, well suited person standing. I knew it was Neil but he didn't.
"Excuse me?" They both said in unison. Wondering who each of them were.
I didn't know what to do!
I didn't know how to explain.

I'm really sorry for a short chapter, but I promise the next one would be longer!

So finally Neil arrives but at the most unusual time. He wasn't pictured to be there. And it was only Naina who knew his anger !!
