The 1:00 am confession !

This isnt the end, is it?

"Hey Naina!" Said dad.
"Hi. What are you doing here?" I asked him for I wasn't pleased to this scene. My mom had always told me, once I was 18 I could take some decisions on my own , and today, I wanted to ask him not to ever meet me again, but then he was my dad and something stopped me I don't know what.
He found it offensive and asked, "aren't you pleased to see me?"
I answered, "no, I don't think you're supposed to enter someone's house without their permission and talking about pleasing me? Neither does your presence do that nor the money you send me."
He didn't expect me to answer in such a way and was just about to slap me when Ryan came in.
It was such a scene he was creating but then it was only Ryan who could've done something and I didn't expect Neil to do other than go wide mouthed.
And that's what happened.
"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are but let me tell you, you aren't allowed to touch Naina for any reason!" Ryan said.
"I'm her father and you don't need to teach me what should be done, okay whoever you are!" Said dad.
It was such a mess I didn't know what to do.
Oh yes! I knew how to stop tis engagement.
I brought out Neil's mistakes
"Neil, you've never cared for me abit, you haven't been with me when I needed you. To give you a perfect example I'll tell you about what just happened. Did you stop when dad was about to hit me, no! You didn't you didn't care because all you wanted was the money you'll get after the marriage, all you want is treating me the same way, just under you. But let me remind you, I've had a person in my life, she was a teacher, she taught every thing about what I had to bear and up to when and when did I have to say no and take my own stand. Mum was the best person I had in my life. She left but leaving behind an independent and powerful woman." I turned towards dad and then spoke again, "neither do you dad. You've never kept me happy sending those digits, you've never asked me how I was even after mom left. You never cared about me or Nidhi. You just didn't. I thought I was lucky enough to have a family, but after mom left you never let it feel like one. I miss mum."
I fell on my knees, my eyes filled with tears. I just wanted to run away from every thing happening in my life.
"This isn't the end, is it?" I heard mom's voice from somewhere deep inside. It was the voice from my memory of the day I had failed to sketch a perfect scenery, the day I lost the table tennis match, the day I fell off my cycle, the day I hesitated to perform, the day I could not rhyme my words.
"This isn't the end, is it?" These were the lines she always told me to gather strength and move ahead.
How could I forget them today?
I was so deep in these thoughts and I didn't know how much I had cried, just to find myself in Ryan's arms, and no one else around.
I sniffed a bit.
*Reminder- I caught cold too quickly*
"Where's everyone?" I asked him getting up.
"Naina," he said in a very soft tone, "they've left for Hyderabad. They said they didn't want to waste the money they had spent on their tickets and it was passing 6:30, so they decided to leave and... " He stopped mid way.
I couldn't believe they cared about their tickets and not about what they had made me go through. And what had they now done ?
"Yes and?" I asked waiting for him to proceed.
But he changed the topic and I was in no strength to argue. I left it thinking to talk about it some other time.
"I better sleep for a while," I said as I got up to go to my room.
"Good night!" He said as he closed the door behind.
I had no strength to Change my clothes either and slept in the jeans and tee I had worn.

I woke up at around 1 in the night.
But wait! where was I? Was it even one? I could see the garden I lay in really beautiful and bright. It was day time. But I was in my bed. I tried hard to remember but my head hurt a lot.

Where was I?

So,
A lot has been happening.
Such a careless person was gifted with an amazing daughter . But he never understood her need.

Now how will she ever be able to talk to an elder if needed.
What about Nidhi. She is alone with dad, how is she now?

They just left her?
And now she finds herself in an unknown place.
Where is she?
