The 1:00 am confession !

MICU

I went away from the reception and asked the nurse where the MICU was, she pointed towards the right and said "to the dead end."
I nodded and immediately rushed there.
There was a security guard at the door, and did not allow me in.
I knew it wasn't of any use asking to get in and so I just peeped in.
I tried figuring out where was his bed, until I saw him in the second bed from the other end. I could see him and this made me relax. As I looked closer I saw he had a bandage on his forehead covering the part of his scalp, the oxygen mask on and his leg tied up to be straightened. I then looked at his side table to find lots of medicines and injections kept there, I also saw his pair of clothes drenched in red. My eyes were wet.
All I was doing was praying . I wished he was completely safe.

It was around 9 as I waited there.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and knew this time it was Arjun, I turned around to find a very beautiful girl standing. She had perfect eyebrows and black hair. She asked me if I was here to see Ryan and I nodded.
I went along with her for she was the doctor.
Wasn't she too young to be a doctor? I asked myself.
We went to the first floor into her room. I sat down in the little metal chair infront.
She started, " hello. Umm", she paused not knowing my name and so I added "Naina".
"Yes, naina so how did this accident happen?" She asked.
I was speechless and said, " I don't know I wasn't present around". " I wish I was though", I murmured to myself.
"Oh alright." She said and continued, " does he live here alone?"
I answered yes and hoped all was fine.
She then spoke, " Ryan has gone through a very difficult surgery, we believe in treating the patient as soon as we discover the fault and so we did so. He had his head hit to another car and the glass shield broke over him." Showing me the reports and x-rays she said, "the pieces have entered into his scalp abit deeper which almost led to cutting his internal nerves. But successfully we have been able to remove the pieces and helped repair his fractured leg."
I gasped and was unable to respond immediately. I just took what she said in.
She then spoke, "how will you be able to pay the bills?"
I hadn't thought about this until now.

I couldn't tell at home and I didn't have really so much of my money saved. I cannot ask Ryan or check out his home for money .
I had to do something but I didn't know what !

When will Ryan just get well?
How will Naina manage the bills?
What will happen when she has to go to work the first day that is tomorrow !
