as the years passed the two children grew exceptionally in all their training. Eileen had become the perfect assassin and both Amanda and Henry were very proud of her. her long black whip made out of leather, had a silver arrow at the end with jagged pieces of metal in the whip for a death grip that disappeared throughout the blade. Cinaed had become more of a dreamer and would disappear for most of the training, his Ax was usually left alone, and was rarely used. Henry came to be annoyed with Cinaed and all the training he missed, but he could never find the boy. Eileen found him every time in different places.
Henry watched Eileen standing on the training table, her black whip at her side waiting to be used. her long silky black hair was braided back, she stood in her proud stand, waiting for the other Nuns to start. Henry smiled, watching his prodigy, she was the next lead assassin and everyone knew.
the first Nun threw a silver dagger and Eileen missed it by ducking under. her smile turned a grin, and she began her dance of death. the other dummies that held swords stood no more as her whip latched onto their straw heads and ripped them off. in seconds she had flipped off the table and was hand to hand combat with another girl her age. as the girl tried to punch her, Eileen twisted the girl's arm and sent her flying to the wall.
"Stop!" Henry commanded.
Eileen froze in mid punch, she drew back and curtsied to her new opponent. the girl bowed back and stepped back. Eileen turned to face Henry, through out the years the 16 year old girl had improved so much and grown so much. he smiled and walked to her.
"You have done well my child." he said
"I try my best papa." she replied.
"As i wish your brother did, speaking of him would you go find Cinaed." he said.
she nodded and left.
Eileen walked through the court yard, her boots clicking on the stone, her brother loved climbing trees and the walls. a few of the other Nuns smiled and nodded, she grinned and greeted them by saying 'Sisters' as they hurried by. she found Cinaed in a tall pine tree, he was looking off from the stone wall and a book was in his hand, loose papers falling to the grass below. Eileen smiled and rolled her eyes for her brother's carelessness. she started up the tree after him, he looked down and smiled helping her up.
"Why is it i always find you in trees?" she asked as she sat on the branch.
"It is easier to think up here." he said looking back out to the lush fields.
"Papa, is searching for you." she stated.
"I thought as much." he said with a sigh.
she felt bad for him, Eileen knew that Cinaed hated fighting and battle, what he lacked she made up. she sighed and looked out to the green fields. she knew that in the end she would lie and say that she hadn't seen him, it was just something they did for each other. he sighed and closed his book and stood, making the branch shake. she looked up to him, and he slipped past her, jumping to the wall. he almost lost his step and she gasped, he smiled and turned. she grinned and followed him to the wall, when they were younger they had explored the castle up and down.
Eileen laughed and followed him around the church. she looked into the court yard to see Father Connall sending her a glare, she smiled and drew her whip. his scowl lessened and a look of curiosity grew.
"Think fast!" she yelled lashing her whip to Cinaed.
as quick as lightning, he spun around and drew his double handed long sword. Eileen gave him a mischievous smile before attacking again. Cinaed sent her a glare but blocked her every attack. out of the corner of her eye she could see Father Connall smiling, proud to see her making her brother work on his skills.
