At Mercy's Will

Part 13

Eileen ran to Lisa's room excited to tell her of the news. Edward had told her that they needed to keep it a secret until he could ask his father for permission, but Eileen knew he would agree. she ran to her friend's room and didn't bother knocking as she ran in.  Lisa was still asleep and woke with a start when Eileen slammed the door closed.

"Eileen?" Lisa asked sleepily.

"Lisa, i am getting married!" she yelled jumping up and down. 

Lisa's eyes widened and she jumped out of bed squealing and jumping with Eileen. they laughed and Eileen told her all about the proposal and about their plans. she was so happy that nothing could wipe a smile off her face. 

"When will the wedding be?!" she asked happily.

"I am not sure, but when ever it is i will be happy!" she said jumping up. 

"Eileen, you have to know! you need to get the gown and the shoes and the trunk of gowns!" Lisa explained.

"What?" Eileen asked.

"you need to create the wedding notice, you need to give him a dowry, and  you need the rings, preparing the feast for both sides of the family and the guests!" Lisa added.

"How do i get a Dowry, i have no parents." Eileen asked.

"Leave it to me, i have some money spared that i can give you." Lisa said happily. 

"And how do i get a wedding Notice?" she asked

"Talk to the person who will be marrying you both, he will create it. then you must post it in front of the church. if people think the marriage is bad and come up with a good excuse the wedding can be detained, but since you are marring the prince i doubt anyone will say anything." Lisa added

"Lisa, would you help me?" Eileen asked.

"Of course i would! go find out from Edward when the wedding will be then, come straight back. we need to start preparing." Lisa said shooing Eileen out. 

Eileen found Edward with his father in the private library. the king smiled and walked over to her his arms outstretched. Edward was grinning.

"Welcome to the family my dear!" the king said happily.

"When will the wedding take place?" the king added pulling away.

Eileen looked to Edward.

"as soon as possible." Edward said with a grin.

"Then by next Sunday, perfect!" the king said.

Eileen giggled and ran to Edward throwing her arms around him. he laughed and spun her around before setting her down. Eileen kissed the king's cheek and ran out of the room skipping into Cinaed and Stephan.

"Eileen, what has your moods in such a high spirit?" Cinaed asked.

she froze, she had forgotten to tell Cinaed.

"Well you see, i am getting married." she said suppressing her happiness. 

Cinaed grinned and began to laugh hugging her. Stephan smiled and congratulated her.

"who?" Cinaed asked.

"Edward!" Eileen said happily.

"OH dear Eileen, you will be so happy!" Cinaed said with a laugh. 

"Please brother i dare you not detain me no longer, Lisa is waiting for me. i have promised to go with her to buy all the things needed!" She said skipping past them. 

she found Lisa dressed and combing her curly hair. Lisa looked up and smiled braiding it to the side and running to Eileen.

"So?"
